  1. Have a look at the time my 177H came to a stop after not being wound for a few days. What are the chances? Its dead on, literally.
  2. Yeah. Don't ask, i'm in denial. Because I like this Better then the gen I just pinched pennys to purchase prior to it.. Thankfully they're both badass to me.
  3. Good question, but the more I think about it the more I bet everyone here wears their watch pretty much the same. Not too tight, not too loose. A little play to allow the wrist to breathe, while tight enough to prevent case rotation on the wrist.
  4. To be perfectly honest, the fitty is a little much IMO. It looks like you've got a dinner plate on your wrist. Sorry V 44 is doable.
  5. Awesome idea TW. I will submit one of my sub-par offerings. My girlfriend is a great photographer, but our equipment is lacking compared to a lot of you. Good luck to all.
  6. just have to get the springbars out. Congrats sir. What color face did you get on your SF? get yourself a small jewlers screwdriver and check all the screws on your bracelet as some may be loose and you don't want to lose those little buggers. Then check your caseback and make sure its screwed down nice and tight. Search for "tape ball" or "tape method" for a easy way to tighten your caseback. As long as you check your caseback and make sure your crown is tight, you should be waterproof. Be careful not to cross thread the crown when screwing it back in, its not the easiest to deal with. here's mine, just got it this week, so i'm feeling your enthusiasm. Post a pic of yours if you can.
  7. Thats a great piece you got there, enjoy your new watch
  8. I don't like the diamond second hand, I much prefer the box we all have. Whats wrong with that guys arm?
  9. I could think of much better ways to spend my $30,000.
  10. They aren't reps. Guess watches are not very expensive.
  11. Thanks Andy. Its an interesting subject for sure.
  12. Andy maybe its best you throw an X somewhere in our SN's. I'm going to edit my picture I think. These guys have a point. Edit: Hey, Andy I forgot to say- These are advertised as having "individual serial numbers"
  13. Im sorry to hear that. Definately info on the boards on what to do next to fix the watch, so dig around. Just got my ETA version this week. My caseback arrived loose. Something that needs to be checked on every rep during the initial once over. How is yours? A selling point of this watch for me at least is the watertight case. I am leary about this however. Do I pay $20-30 for a waterproofing test at a watchsmith, or do I roll the dice and deal with the consequences if it leaks? Easy decision for me on the watches I plan to wear around water. Are there supposed to be O-rings on the crown tube? Mine does not have one.
  14. You guys weren't kidding. Magnificent watch. I am going to keep this short because there is nothing I can say that hasn't been said about this watch before. I am more then pleased with the decision to pick this up. A few things to look out for upon arrival are to make sure your caseback and bracelet screws are tight (both were very lose on mine).
  15. What an over-hyped watch man. Isn't the whole point of this website to protect people from paying $800 for a rep? I've got a GZ supplier offering me HBB's for $370 / $185 or $390 / $210 for rose gold. Pics of the product look spot on too. I haven't ordered from the guy, I don't know the facts about the ceramic bezels, but i'm pretty certain people are being gouged on BB's.
  16. All my watches, the ETA Sub, 177H, and gen TAG lume all suck. The tag is alright, but its no superluminova. I hope my SFSO is nice (should arrive anyday). its advertised as "outstanding lume".
  17. Sharp shooting, Steve. That shot really sells the white dial. I am currently awaiting my blue dial ETA SFSO. Its in the states and in route to its final destination as of 1am today. The tough part of patience begins..
  18. Feel like I just dropped a pants size up front a little.
  19. The retail therapy just kicked in. Works so much better then captain n coke.
