I've always loved the look of vintage Panerai and want to get into vintage builds, so this is as good a place to start as any. Not exactly like I want it and I will continue to try to get it right, but it's a start.

Beautiful work, I am waiting on parts and paint, I want to try my hand on a 3646. Can't wait....

Thanks for the info. I'll look into it asap.... -
My rotary Engraving/CNC just arrived today, I want to use it to do engraving on some custom PAM watches I have been cosigned to build and vintage builds I want to put together in the future. Not to mention possible engraving on main plates for my Asian builds. Now all I have to do is put the thing together, do some modifications and figure it out... Here is the vise with a case back on it, just testing to see how they fit, still need a great deal of R&D to get this rolling. Here it is with the main plate on it, need to get some plastic or rubber jigs to hold the main plates and cases in place. Once I get this thing all wired up and running I'll post some more pictures of the results...I'm sure I'll have many sleepless nights ahead, should be interesting..

Here is the link, it is not cheap but IMHO one of the best 127 crystals out there. It does have a bluish AR to it, but after researching, so do the later gen. crystals I have attached a YouTube video where you can see the crystal is exactly like the WSO. Crystal: http://www.ebay.com/itm/PAM-127-SAPPHIRE-CRYSTAL-FOR-PANERAI-WATCH-1950-47-FIDDY-/160658371241?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2567fc32a9 Great video on the 127, it shows the light bluish hue AR, and shows that the CG lever is as loose on the gen watch as it is on the reps, so no need to tighten. Go HD 1080 and be amazed: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=Q_eVYa_uzh0 -

These are the V3 127, they have improved crystals, hands, straps, and it looks like the CG is better too, just getting better and better. No. E0541 headed to Texas No. E0510 headed to Singapore

Update: Just though some of you who had the same problem as me would like ti know! After over 4 months I got an email from PP leting me know I won the case against this SOB! I have blanked out the case number and amount, but you can see that if done properly these cases can be won. Still, Ill believe it when the money is back in my account. _____________________________________________________________________________ "We are pleased to inform you that we have successfully disputed chargeback case #PP-XXX-XXX-XXX-826. The buyer's card issuer has decided in your favor and within seven days you will receive reimbursement for $X,XXX.00 USD. It is PayPal's standard practice to dispute wrongful chargebacks. One of the benefits of using PayPal is that our team of chargeback specialists will gather the necessary information from you and work with the credit card company until the chargeback is resolved. We appreciate your prompt response to our request for information about this transaction." ___________________________________________________________________________ Hope some of the others scammed by this guy receive the same outcome. -
Hmmmm, does your out of the box 127 have this?

Hi Everyone, Just finished my first all Asian 127 and "E" movement for a fellow rep. enthusiast. As always the movements are based on the Noob movement and watch. I have built out many all Asian 111 and 112s, but these are my first E movement builds. I am building more of these now a days since the ETA components are getting harder to get and more and more expensive. Here are the pictures, all components on the watch are Asian and modded to look gen. Thanks for looking......

I got banned from RG as well, yet I am told that by my user name it says "waiting for approval". I just don't really know why I was banned, I was never told, my last interaction with them was after I put up a generic sales thread that I use on all the forums. The problem is it said "I am approved for high value sales by the admin.", I had talked to NEMBO and I thought it was OK. Anyway one of the mods contacted me with major attitude about that statement in my thread, I complied with all his requests, and a few days later I was out! Now in the spirit of honesty, I did break one forum rule, because I had two user ids, though I never used one of them for any reason what so ever, I just wanted to reserve the name. So I don't know for which I was banned, but banned I am. If it was for the second I deserved it, I did break a forum rule.

Problems with member Texski! Please read!

MAN, WTF is going on! It seems they are coming out of the woodwork! What can we do to stop all this scamming! It's getting to the point that you just don't know who to trust.... Post this guys info. maybe someone will run into him some day. No excuse for this unless he has had a serous family issue, dead or has been hospitalized...and still he could give people a heads up. That is unless he's dead! -
This was sent to me, this might just be the guy: http://www.facebook.com/yonatan.ezogue

A least you've already started to build a positive reputation, I think the big problem is with the newest members without any feedbacks or posts that might have a problem. Scammers don't tend to stick around long, as they are found out very quickly. I just wonder if some of our really good modded reps are winding up on Ebay being sold as gen? Then he is scamming everyone....

All three PAM 6497 style movements modded up....
marlin22 replied to marlin22's topic in The Panerai Area
These movements were in the process of being modded so they were in different stages for build out and none was complete. If you notice they are missing screws on the bridges, these are mocked up for testing before building them out completely. It just so happened that I had them all together at once and I decided to share. All of these movements are modded Swiss ETA (expensive), I now also produce them as a fully modded Asian version (less expensive). Please check my other threads and you will see the watches complete and placed on sale. For purchasing please contact PM me directly. Thanks -
Just had a brand new member contact me about a watch, unfortunately he says he can not to pay gifted because in his country PP goes not allow it. He also wanted a low ball declaration, so I would be unable to cover myself with full value insurance. I told him if he send the payment with Western Union I would be happy to do it, but otherwise no deal. I will now be very careful with newbies as I suggest we all are. A sad situation......

Scam Alert: Beware Vintage.israel, Yonatan.ezo, SimonETLV
marlin22 replied to tmg's topic in General Discussion
Hey toomuchgear, check my thread Andy linked above. Does the address I have posted the same as the shipping address you were given? Was the email the same? Was your transaction with YE or VI? Are you fighting it with PP? Just curious may be we can help each other and others this has happened to. PP told me his PP account is now limited, so I don't think he can use his YE PP email to screw anyone else, for now anyway... -
