I was thinking maybe if you offered a lower price, it could be doable. Depends if you want to go Gen or not with the dial, bezel and hands. Bezel set NOS will run you about 725, comes with insert and washer. Crown 50-300 bucks. Hands are about 250, Gen dial will be harder to find, but not impossible. Well gents, all the parts have been sourced and sent to Mike this morning, I can't wait to see this project come to life. Here's the list: -2.8 mil gen 5513 case set with tropic 19 (thanks Themillerdave) -Gen feet first dial (sourced from VRM) -Matching Gen handset (Themillerdave) -Gen 1570 movement (pulled from a 1002) -NOS bezel assembly (VRM) -MK3 fat font insert (eBay) -700 crown and tube (crown eBay tube Themillerdave) This whole project started with a dial and hands, can't believe I sourced everything with minimal difficulty. The last piece of the puzzle came in Friday (700 crown) getting it all boxed up and ready to ship to Mike next week. These parts can be had for a decent price but you have to look high and low, the Gen case was just freak luck and even more so that it is the same serial range as my dial! Yeah, it was costly but only several hundred more than a Phong case and this one won't need mods. I figure if I bought a Phong and had it modded it wouldn't be far from the price of a Gen.
