  1. Agreed. My daily beater is a PAM 112H from Silix, love it. However, today I have decided to wear my Rose Gold PAM 231c, which I also love but is far more dressy - and with manual wind and crown thread issue will never be my daily beater.
  2. Yep, just learnt how to report something myself - I'd hate to think that some one was paying £2,000 for this.
  3. I tend to agree with you. Normally a seller would claim the item was 100% genuine, verified etc, he does none of that. Unsurprisingly he hasn't responded to my offer of visiting an AD.
  4. I've asked him if he'd be willing to go to an AD to have it verified... No response yet...
  5. I'm not so sure that is a rep. Rolex experts please com forward and confirm...

    MBW?

Luckyyy was about $360, George is around $430 - some one correct me if I'm wrong...
  7. Man, there are some pretty impressive transactions taking place on the Bay - incredible stuff!
  8. Unfortunately the BBC appear to have chopped off his wrist here!
  9. Sounds good - do you have any pictures of the actual watches we are talking about - I'm familiar with EL's pics which are awesome but would like to see actual pics. Thanks
  10. Shameless bump, but very curious to see how this one is working out...
  11. Well, for starters the crown guards are far too heavy. Secondly the date font is way off - the magnification is probably also wrong. The rectangular hour markers are also too small by some way. That's just for starters - I'm sure some of the real Rolex aficionado's can spot another dozen or so problems... I don't own one yet... One day!!!
  12. Hey Klink, que tal amigo? Long time no see - your presence has been missed, would be good to have you around if you are that way inclined!
  13. Having become a father recently myself I know how you must be feeling now! Many many many congratulations to you and yours and good luck with getting some sleep!!!
  14. That's actually a very nice watch...
  15. How much weight would that add to the car? Any ideas? Wondering how performance would be affected, although you probably wouldn't want to go too fast in that thing anyway, best kept in a garage, out of view, partly because it would be targeted immediately but also because it's hideous!!
  16. Good man lionsandtigers, that's the spirit!! Welcome, you're going to like it here!!
  17. I wonder how long it will take for the Panerai bug to bite... Welcome guys!!!!
  18. or is it pre-[censored]...
  19. Likewise for me. Occasionally (very rarely) visit TRC if I can't find something here, and even less frequently visit the dark side. I find that 99.9% of the time I have everything I need right here, and to be honest I barely have the time to check out as much as I would like here, let alone anywhere else. For my money RWG has the best members, the most traffic and the highest post rate. You can't beat it!!
  20. I think we need something like the rules of buying but you can't know for sure if some one byuing from any of our dealers has found them through RWG. Also, I think that most dealers should be clear with 1st time buyers from the first contact. Clarify situations regarding customs responsibilities, faulty watches, shipping time estimate, and as many problem areas as you can think of. Have a standard mail set up for these situations. Remember that a lot of 1st time buyers will panic if they don't have their watch within a week - this has to be explained to them from the start. 0.02c
