  1. Doesn't do it for me at all...
  2. Sorry, mea culpa, hijacked your post...
  3. Veni, you're braver than I! What scares me most is the fact that the crown guard is fairly loose - but the crown does click into place so I should just try it - I did follow your advice and tighten the back with my rubber gloves on! Just got to put it in the water now!! I'm getting tempted to try it, along with the Omega SMP that I got from them too.... anyone have any experiences with their SMP's?
  4. Well done Chris, certainly helped me out!
  5. Sorry but can't help on the technicalities - where did you get it tested by the way? Are you in London by chance? If not does anyone know of anywhere in or around London where I could get my watches tested? Also give me a rough idea of how much people charge for this... Many thanks,
  6. Did you have to use the tool or where you able to work without it?
  7. Hey Kostas, You know I'm a 112H fan, and nothing has changed that up until now. In fact, I was sat next to a guy on the tube the other day and he was wearing a gen 112G. He reckoned mine was a fake - because it had a sandwich dial! So I had to explain that this was the H series to the owner of a gen! Anyway, despite his ignorance I told him mine was indeed a fake and he couldn't believe his eyes. Anyway, the sandwich dial is for me a classic look, and coupled with the simplicity of the 112 makes for the perfect watch. If I were to chose a PAM outside your selection however I would go for one of the Radiomir's like the Blackseal. I would love to have one of these were I don't have to worry about the thread on the crown stem wearing down. Either way good luck to you, enjoy it, and I'm jealous!!!! Cheers, Diego
  8. Hey Kostas, I stole nothing, promise!! By the way, I believe that you got yourself a 112H like mine from Silix - have you tested that in the water? I'm not brave enough to try it but would be interested to hear if yours was ok...
  9. Many hearty congratulations Kostas! I imagine you had the time of your life - I know I did (at my wedding, not yours!)
  10. Definitely up and running, most of the topics still got a January date however. I owe a lot to that place but it's history as far as I'm concerned - no time for 2 sites, barely enough for 1!!!! But I choose you, RWG two! (I'm a poet) I liked it so much I posted it twice - Sorry guys, too little sleep at present!

  12. Let's hope so, we need something (or someone) to happen!
  13. You took the words from my mouth Chronus - bore draw - however, knowing that my predictions rarely come good it'll probably be a thriller with Theo Walcott scoring on his debut in the 94th minute to wrap up a 4-3 victory for England!!!!
  14. And Hislop in goal, and I'm sure there are some really interesting characters in the team.
  15. I say England will win easily despite the cautious build up. The best performance so far though has to be Spain - arriba España!!! On another note have any English members been watching the build up on local TV? It seems that the only T&T player that the media want to speak to is.... a white English guy called Burchill whose mother was born in Port of Spain (capital of T&T). I don't want to call the British media racist but it would seem that he was the only guy in the team - must be slightly irritating for the other members of the team...
  16. I'm glad to say that the majority of people have never heard of PAM's, which for me is great as I'm not a very flashy guy - I think if you want girls to think you're loaded that's more Rolex territory. Although a PAM will get noticed, they won't have a clue how much it costs...
  17. Have you got a tracking number? If so check that, but be patient, these things take a bit of time, and the waiting is awful... Hang on in there! Seriously though I would politely e-mail the dealer after about 2 weeks to check the tracking number etc...
  18. 34, but with a 2 month old daughter at home, and having moved house on Tuesday I feel about 50! Time for a new watch to cheer myself up!!!!
  19. You get an extra $10 with every post you make, and now you have enough....
  20. I'd think it was very wise to not bring an entire collection to a pub. Enjoy guys, I'd really like to share a couple of pints with you all.
  21. As drizznay said yes, just like the original. And don't let it put you off - I was a bit worried that it would be a pain in the [censored] (after a series of automatics) but I quite enjoy it!
  22. 112H for me - same as the 111H apart from the second dial at 9. It's a bit simpler and cleaner in my eyes although I love them all. I got mine here... http://www.silix-prime.com/product.asp?id=1526 - and it's a beauty!
  23. Looks just like every order I've received if my memory's not playing tricks on me...
  24. Never happened to me so not sure, although I'd be tempted to sit tight. Was it a large order?
