  1. Yea, I was gonna say I don't think Macy's would know a Panerai if it smacked them upside the head....
  2. I might be game, depending on when and where.
  3. Eh? What does this mean? For the hands?
  4. No. What other colors are desireable and for which watches?
  5. Send it to Finepics for a PVD coating and you're good to go.
  6. Yee haw!! I'm in, I'm in, I'm in!
  7. PAMs and Breitlings on underside only. POs have AR on both sides. I've got a guy that'll do single or double sided AR that meets military specs for durability in the sought-after bluish tint. This coating far surpasses the typical optician type of coating and pricing is just as good as the non-durable coating prices I've previously posted. I need to post an update to the AR in USA thread.
  8. Wire cutters and a file to smooth out the cut.
  9. JJ I might sell mine after I do the gen dial swap. I haven't decided. But if so, you'll be the first to know.
  10. I will start taking payments once they are in my hands. Everyone who has posted a request for a cyclops (or more than one) will get what they've asked for, rest assured. There will even be enough for everyone to get more than they've asked for at this point. loverpanerai will get his 10. hehe
  11. Visually, the titanium looked the same to me. The genuine seemed a little bigger but that could have been my imagination. Perhaps the gen was a tad heavier also. Oh and I should have mentioned the caseback. The 300m is the least of the problems on the rep caseback because it's nothing like the gen caseback at all.
  12. I picked one up from King also. Today at lunch the deli was next door to a Breitling AD, so I checked out the genuine article... Some observations on the gen: Single sided bluish AR on the crystal Bezel mechanism feels very different from the rep Bracelet much tighter
  13. Production has officially started. Info posted at top of thread.
  14. Agree. Used is the way to go.
  15. Typically one doesn't buy a titanium watch for luster. It's for people like me who happen to like the matte, non bling bling look.
  16. I probably wouldn't go that far, but the arabic numerals have never done it for me.
  17. So you're saying, then, that both casebacks are wrong? The Chrono Avenger should say chronograph, while the Seawolf shouldn't have 300m... According to what I've seen, the Seawolf has an incredible pressure rating of 300bar/3000m/10000ft. So I guess the rep is missing a '0'. Well, at least it doesn't say Shitinerand.
  18. Stiff maybe? They'll soften up over time.
  19. No, no, no. For the love of all that is sacred and holy, vote for the Ebel chrono ! ! !
  20. I'll agree to an extent with your daughter... The orange strap, IMO, on the orange PO is a bit over the top.
  21. 1. Yes! File off any jagged pieces at the end to make threading easier. 2. I cut the length of the threaded part of the stem because I want the crown to fit close to the case like I see in pics of gens for my watch. How much to cut is subjective. But you should thread the crown without cutting, first. Reinstall the stem into the watch and then visually adjust to your liking. I probably cut off only 1mm or so. But make sure to sneak up on it... In other words, don't cut it all off at once. Cut less than you think you'll need. Fit it. See how it looks. Then cut a little more off. Etc.
  22. For starters, they're not mine. Some showoff on timezone posted the pic. One thing I liked to see was the Pre-F sub. There is a little space between the edge of the case and the edge of the bezel on the side where the CGs are. On the post-F subs it seems that the bezel comes right up to the edge and you can't see any space between the bottom of the crown and edge of the bezel. My TW Classic has this space, and I thought it was a flaw... until I noticed this pic. Yea, I'm sick. God help me.
  23. LOL, flav. You sound like a mad scientist.
  24. I wouldn't use those, frankt. They're magnetized.
