  1. they seem to be hanging around 4k here in the US (well 4k to 5.5k the ones at 5k and up aren't selling quickly though)
  2. Haven't seen any reps... But why not pick up an ESQ right within that price range, made by movado and you get an actual brand name with genuine 1 year warranty.
  3. Very nice looking watch and strap. Love that combo.
  4. I really believe that is what the vast majority of those who are genuinely conservatives want... Now I know they don't behave that way and I believe it has something to do with the people that are coming into the majority (talking about age range of people). Back in the day... (strange for me to say this because I am not old lol) a business owner would sit down with and talk with a consumer who was having problems or issues. It has changed greatly and most likely you will talk with someone who could care less about your issues or problems now regardless of where you call or who you call. This is because people are out to chase the dollar. Money is what is running peoples lives. Left and Right both are out to collect votes to stay in power and collect large amounts of money while not caring at all about the people who put them there. this is what it has become and rather you put someone from the left or the right in you are going to get the same. The only difference is going to be what they are collecting money for and what they are going to direct the left over funds to. A large part of why this is the way it is has to do with the kind of people around now.
  5. LOL I kind of figured. And for your second question they conserve only in specific cases though lol. 'Conservatives' in general want "smaller" government presence where as 'Liberals' favor "larger" government presence. As for those who conserve they are called conservationists lol.
  6. With harsh chemicals... its more or less stain resistant not stain proof. Different grades are more or less resistant and will withstand different chemicals and such.
  7. I love my gen rubber strap on my SOSF LOL. Very casual looking and wearing with the rubber one. I like the yellow stitching on the black. You will have to get some photos when you get them both.
  8. I had an invicta crown come off the stem when it was new. I had it less than a week or two went to set the time and off it came lol. I sent it back and received a nice new one. Outside of that the only other watch that I have had that lost its crown is my SOSF which really didn't loose the crown just the tube came unscrewed from the case one day while wearing it around.
  9. If it is the ceramic RG that I was trying to get also lol nope the RG will not fade or wear. because it is the ceramic that is that color. the weight would be off but while it is on the wrist nobody will know the difference lol. Photos are blocked while I am at work so I can't see anything to confirm it. There was a limited run of the ceramic RG ones I am assuming that is what were talking about up there. They look wonderful and I so miss not getting in on getting one. I thought I was in even had photos of it but there was a flaw found in mine on the back and I elected to have it sent back in hope of getting another only turns out that there were no more and I was out of luck until more became available... now I don't know what I want again.
  10. Very nice.
  11. Mine were all mailed to members from the forum. I don't know of a local one to me anyhow. VAC did my SOSF service and lume of dial and hands. Another member is working on my A7750. I am waiting for The Zigmeister to open up, start accepting more watches, so I can send off another watch to be lumed and serviced.
  12. I shoot Canon but I for my tripod I have a Manfrotto 190CXPRO3 and a Manfrotto 322RC2 head it's wonderful and great to carry around when I need to. And for something sharper move away from the zooms and stock up on some primes lol or get some consistent aperture zooms. A Nikkor 70-200mm f2.8G ED VR II will run somewhere around $2k yet you can pick up a Nikkor 70-300mm f4-5.6 for somewhere around $150.
  13. Oh nice... Where can I get one in yellow with the correct date font? I am so wanting one of those might break my saving money streak if these are available. I was saving up so I could get one of those super nice IWC with genuine movements that show up on here
  14. The A7750 I had serviced ran me 185 and was done just a few weeks ago. I am actually waiting for it to get finished up and returned to me lol. I believe most of the recommended folks from the board will run around that price for an A7750. Mine was on a running seconds at 9 model don't know if it makes a really big difference though.
  15. I don't remember the exact price on what I paid for the SOSF service since it had the dial and hands lumed and all with shipping both ways was under 200. The A7750 was also under 200 including shipping both ways. I haven't looked locally. Both were done by different very good well reviewed members off the board.
  16. That's what I thought. So the prices I have paid were under 200 each for an ETA 28-something (whatever is in the SOSF lol) and an A7750.
  17. I think they are all from the same or they all have access to the same stuff. Just depends on QC and history with a dealer.
  18. Ack... Depends on the movement but I haven't paid near 300 for a service as of yet. I suspect an overhaul is a service lol.
  19. sold... Didn't seem that bad of a price 35 for the whole thing.
  20. That is a beautiful looking watching. Love the blue dial those look so amazing. I really wished I had some extra money when Concepta was selling the other one a while back. Looked amazing and the work that went in to it made it that much nicer. This one also looks very nice also. Great watch you have there.
  21. I live by Joe Horn lol... He shoots people who try and steal my stuff when I am not home to shoot them myself. I really rely on an alarm, wall safe, and watchful neighbors. For my legit stuff I rely on the insurance company.
  22. If it is discontinued I wonder if mine will shoot up in value lol. I love my steelfish probably the watch that gets the most wear time. I don't know why it would be discontinued everyone loved the SOSF. And really the only thing I would have liked to see changed was the ability to remove the crystal or change the bezel. If it had those things I don't know why anyone would by a genuine LOL.
  23. I haven't heard about it.
