Yes. I just got an email Thursday letting me know that he has finished my watch. Now I am eagerly waiting for usps to deliver it. Then I have to see if I can get a quote on doing my Graham. I am sure he is very busy.

MAC purchase Help!...will need CS software, etc..
jchurch replied to hackR's topic in General Discussion
I love the 13.3 macbook pro I just was disappointed they didn't get the i5/i7 processors like the other pro books. I already have a core2duo with 8gb ram lol but I am waiting to see if on of the smaller i5/i7 versions come out. Sure photo and video editing will work great on the 13 inch c2duo. It does on mine running windows 7 I have CS5 and all of the products from the suite work great on it. I also have a cool free agent go that I carry my mp3 files and some documents on to and from work. It also works great for carrying disk images around. -

ill agree with this thing but you can get a massive screen for at the dorm or in a room. carrying a 17 inch laptop is for suckers. I did that for a while and it sucks. -
watches owned by the Powerful & Influential?
jchurch replied to fulanito_uk's topic in General Discussion
Maximillion Cooper had a platinum AP stolen recently so I guess he isn't wearing it anymore. Wearing something else in this one. Thomas Kramer AP and another AP with Ivanka trump Reza Mota hublot and hublot and hublot lol. -
No idea lol... Breitling SOSF whats that like 1000 or 1500 Graham Chronofighter Oversize probably 5000 (dunno haven't seen a gen forsale) Milgauss 3000 to 5000 (dunno, depends on where you buy it) Ferrari flyback 014 8000 to 10000 (dunno, could be 4k with some dealer mark downs lol) so something like 17k to 21.5k based on my funky pices.

Doesn't have to be that loaded... I ran CS4 and have installed CS5 on a netbook (there are some CS5 programs that wont install with less than a 64bit processor) and it works perfectly fine; you can pick up the netbook for a few hundred bucks. Mine was like 600 loaded with memory and every available option I could get lol. I suspect an i5 processor would be fine and memory can be easily bought cheaper outside of apple so don't worry about the memory unless you are getting a deal on it. I would probably just go with the 15 inch base one and add the hi-res display (really a great worthwhile option) one of those is around 1899 without a discount (1789 when I apply my student discount or 1785 when I apply my work employee purchase discount). -

I agree with gtanak. The 15 inch macbook pro is a great choice. What college? if it is an accredited university I can't see why they wouldn't. I actually believe if you show up with a student ID at the store you will probably be good and get a discount. Also if you decided to go with a mac they have CS5 master collection (latest and greatest lol) available via torrent for no cost lol. If you didn't go mac there are some wonderful microsoft choices out there for less money. -
I'd start off thanking him for his email. Then I would let him know that even though you understand his problem you placed a legal binding bid for an item that was listed by him/her. And that while you can not back out from your legally binding bid the seller is always within his rights to end an unfinished auction at anytime and the seller can also cancel any bids placed on an auction for any reason as long as the auction has not finished. Then I would let him know that there are exceptions to legally binding on ebay and that if the item has a reserve set and the reserve was not met it is no longer legally binding. After stating those things I would let him know that I would be interested in a solution to his problem; he could pay you 50$ (some random number) and you could both walk away from the deal or he could fulfill his obligation set in the terms of service/rules on eBay and sell you the watches for the amount specified or he could ignore your request and face the repercussions from eBay and you for failing to provide products bought with a legally binding agreement.

Looks good right now. Thanks.

Yeah, I can't view the main page on the forum... Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class boardIndexWhosChatting in /home/rwgforum/public_html/hooks/boardIndexWhosChatting_341ee89687d398268a648e1ebf25245a.php on line 4 Error is seen in FireFox... I can see the subforums if I know the name of that forum (how I am posting this message). Any ideas?

Panerai 4B - My New Pride and Joys Part I
jchurch replied to Watchmeister's topic in The Panerai Area
That looks amazing. Love the look of this thing. -
Maybe it is just me but honestly a month really isn't that long of a time to wait. Some of those kent park lume jobs look really, really good. And I am sure like all of the modders around here he is busy. Seems to happen all of the time if you want someone doing something on a watch it will take some time. Also like Chief said I think it is common from what I have seen on the other sites. I haven't had any work done by him though so I can't really say for first hand experience but I will say that one month really isn't all that long to wait.
-
That's a good suggestion since really nothing wrong with it aside from not being put together correctly in the first place lol.

Seems like a solid sapphire would be easy enough to get just need to get someone into making some lol.

It's no wonder some long time members drift away...
jchurch replied to RWG Technical's topic in General Discussion
LOL... I actually did that with two mobile phones. Granted it wasn't to anyone on this forum but another forum someone locally was looking for a mobile phone that could be transferred to a different carrier. I replied letting the person know I had two phones one directly from that carrier and the other phone one that could be transferred over but would require taking it to a shop to be flashed. I didn't hear anything back from the guy for months. I asked how they worked out and he never even replied back as to how they worked or if they were working out lol. -
ACK... that sucks. wonder if there will be different ones available. Can it be replaced if they have others available.
-
And to think I just sent an email to Vac asking if he could remove the lume and redo lume on my graham because it has little imperfections in the 1 of the 12 (lol) It is still how I got it. Hasn't been lumed or anything as far as I know.

Thinking about a Hublot...All black? Non-Chrono?
jchurch replied to gliptopolis's topic in Other Brands Area
I haven't seen any non-chrono reps. If they are out they are rare lol. I do know that they make genuine non chrono watches. -
Probably more rare than a real hublot lol. Mine was so close yet never got it. i asked for a refund and will wait to see when another batch is available.

Again what laptops have built-in compact flash... LOL. Just curious you because I use a USB cable when moving the photos from my cameras on my net/notebooks. There isn't any reason to convince anyone. Bottom line is this thing is a new device that has a market and others have found it.
-
yeah was really hoping to get one. kinda bummed lol.
-
I probably wont be getting one lol. Received a reply this morning to my message asking for any news and was told out of stock... and no idea when it will be again. offered teh black full ceramic but really looking for the RG one so i will probably be out of luck.

yeah. but it was the iphone that put the ipad ideas out there. there were small tablet computers out well before the ipad. but instant on they were not and running windows they were. Windows blows in tablet form.
