No. Not even a little.

Give him a couple of days. It took him a few days to get back to me a while ago as well. Someone here may have an email for him or check his dealer page on the forum.

Yeah I was wondering that as well. I didn't do much digging, but I'd hope so. I'm annoyed when a rep stops running because I ran our of reserve, I can't imagine my reaction if it cost me that much haha.

Haha no it certainly does not. But when was buying such an expensive car new a good, economic sense, period. Apparently Breitling is giving new owners their choice of a new Breitling Bentley worth around $10k. That's nice. The watch will hold its value better than the car haha.

Say what now? Just reading an article about this fugly (opinion) new Bentley which has sold out in 24 hours. Apparently in September there was talk about there being an option to add a Breitling Mulliner Tourbillon Clock into the dashboard, which doubled the price of the car. Seems funny to do that considering if your $229,000 SUV isn't a daily driver, the watch is going to stop running, no? Here's the article: http://www.cnbc.com/2015/09/18/bentley-offering-worlds-most-expensive-in-car-clock.html

Good luck! I really do enjoy it.

This was technically taken after midnight after I got out of the new Bond film. Not a bad flick!

Mastering the culinary arts this morning. Just kidding. Let the burning commence. You gotta know your strengths in this world.

Hahaha oh it's real. That article I read was in Forbes, too. Well worth it. It's nice to wear a watch and not care how close you are to door frames and desk corners

I bought a Seiko 007 diver to take on vacation with me. You can actually go diving with it, smack it around, and have no worries about it. It cost $190 USD and looks pretty darn good. I've had it on leather, rubber, and nato straps, and it looks fantastic. I wear it for yard work and car work all the time, leaving the reps behind. I bought it after reading an article about great affordable watches which watch snobs will appreciate. So there's that.

Looks like it was a gen. I saw his strap and the clasp was very particular, and I found it online. Always nice to see a gen in the wild

I'm on the train heading home today and notice the guy next to me has a Quartz Breitling. All cocky like I turn to my wife and say "that's a crap rep - it's quartz." I look up which models were Quartz and it turns out the Colt was until 2001. Looking more closely I'm pretty sure it was a Colt, but I'm wondering if there is any forum knowledge about them. Also, he's got it on a thick blue leather/maybe plastic-looking strap with what appears to be a butterfly clasp with the logo on the buckle. The strap look a bit embossed. Any clues? Not much to go on I'm sure. I couldn't make out the bezel numbers unfortunately. I thought that may give a clue.

Sorry Kamber I just saw this. I got it from Andrew at Trusty Time. It has a Miyota 8215 movement. The lume is not spectacular, it doesn't last too long, but it's fine for me. Let me know if you'd like a link.

Just one more thing we have in common haha

Most dealers all carry the same watches. It's pretty straight forward - head to the watches, clothing and accessories section and pick a trusted dealer (referred to as TD's). I've purchased from Andrew at Trusty Time. Went great. You can simply PM them, or PM me and I'll send you his website and email. Ask them for specifically what you're looking for. They send you a paypal link then you wait!

I loved the comment from the girl on the left about getting her first one. "Oh, well I was in the market for a new watch and i just didn't want another Rolex." Word, sistah. I hear that struggle. Rolex for dayssss.

Interesting Business Model - Rent a Genuine Luxury Watch
Raxford replied to Quiglda's topic in General Discussion
For what it's worth - when I was getting married I looked into renting a gen. It was about $250 and instead I spent nearly twice that on a different watch, joined a rep forum, and dropped $700 in the first month. So for me the money wasn't the problem as much as it was the not owning. -

Please do AJ. Protecting the forum from this harmful behavior seems far more important than being nice to the person causing all this trouble.
