It's been a long time I didn't update this thread. Still unsatisfied with this 1675 I contacted tripdog RWI with the hope that he could catch up with the mediocre work of the previous modder. Contrary to what I thought, Trip thinks it's not a Cartel. The case is thicker - the cgs are bigger too - he could not refine it as much as possible on a Cartel. In the end the difference is only 0.2mm which is not huge on the wrist. Fortunately it is a loss for a gain, the tube is placed higher, the rehaut is rather thin and the CG are very wide. The bezel was reprofiled, a gen 24-603 crown added, and insert replaced with a nicely faded one with vivid colours to perfect the set. So to honor his superb work, I had prepared a new dial. After several tests of lume, I think I have found the one that suits me. I also reduced the height of the Clark plexi. Perhaps a little bit too much but it's an easy replacement.

I have not yet reduced the height of the plexi as you have suggested. I prefer to wait to be able to order another one before risking to ruin this one. I have a second one but it’s reserved for my Phong 5512. Can’t take profile shot at the moment

So, I think I have done with this watch. I finally got a nice plexi T19 Dome, and succeed a red depth dial. I was pretty dubious the first hours compared to the previous dial but ultimately I think the effect really succeeded. I will be able to attack his little sister 5512 which is disassembled for two weeks waiting for preparation of a better dial.

It's been a while since I was looking for a nice T19 dome for this BC. Some will say this is a detail, I think it’s a big improvement for a vintage look and feel [emoji6] All my thanks [mention=14711]automatico[/mention] and [mention=489]Slay[/mention] for your help to get this.
