  1. What if we did a "Mentor" tag like we have Gold, Plat, etc?
  2. I suppose the Navitimer needs mentioned on here as well.
  3. Two of my personal favorites are: Tag Heuer Monaco and Omega "Bond" Seamaster. I would post pics but I am at work.
  4. Kind of like the Big Brothers program, but big noobers sounds like a porno title. Added: Great idea lanikai!
  5. The more I think of this, the more I agree you would be a great asset in Louisiana. You could beat a gator to death and have awesome hide for more straps!
  6. You know the phrase "jumped the shark"? Breitling has flown over the shark.
  7. Shundi and Chieftang already expressed my sentiments in regards to the handout part. Anyway, Louisiana may be a bit too back woods for you. Please don't think we are all like that!
  8. I can agree with the silly questions statement, I have posted about this before. Few things are more annoying than answering questions on a potential buyer for three days to have them disappear.
  9. No, it is not the same. There is a big difference between a 15 dollar album and a 20k watch. An album or movie ticket is pretty much affordable by all and there are not a whole lot of substitute goods for them. That industry has been hurt by piracy. A replica watch (or other luxury good) is not in the same ballpark.
  10. Yeah, and the guy he got it from has a big......watch collection. Glad to see you like it D!
  11. Thanks for proving my point RobbieG- And I have to do this since he used "Epic fail" Iceberg - you got p3ned!
  12. They would not have a sunken datewheel on the 12-9-6 Navitimer configuration.
  13. RobbieG will be here shortly to give you a right proper flogging.
  14. How many threads are we going to get on this?
  15. No such thing. I think I will like mine more after it gets beat a little bit. This watch is too badass to look pristine!
  16. I know that threads like this really don't mean much to the factories, but I am going to post it because I know I am not alone in my thoughts. Lately the rep factories have been doing a bang up great job repping the latest and greatest Breitling releases. The Skyland, the Seawolf, the Super Avenger, etc. But... They forgot about the Navitimer! The current reps available were decent reps years ago, but can't hold a candle to what is available today. I think the factories should circle back around and make some Navitmer reps with quality up to par with the models mentioned above. It is asinine when you think of all of the 7750 reps that have been released lately but we DO NOT have a good Navitimer. What do you think?
  17. If you read the explanation on their website it does not mention anything about a "future telling" function, it explains this as telling when some Indian reflection time is every day. The brand appears to have stores mostly in India and surrounding that area, so I suppose it makes sense.
  18. I give RWG members a pass, taste and what is expensive are relative. I can tolerate ugly at 500 bucks a hell of a lot easier than I can at 20k
  19. I used to think the Hublot counterfeit countermeasure was that they were ugly. I guess that one did not work.
  20. The image posted by cornerstone is a dilemma for me. I guess I pleasured myself too much as a kid and am going blind because I can't see the bottom ones. If I could see them, I may make myself even more blind.
  21. Their website is a little less preachy: hxxp://borgeaudwatches.com/automatic.html
  22. After a little thought, I would love to take this apart and see what kind of simple modification to an eta movement they relabeled as some kind of cosmic counter. Probably a power reserve.
  23. They actually put a bedpan on a watch. Whisky. Tango. Foxtrot.
  24. I don't know, I may have to refund your money after seeing these photos! I'm kidding, I mailed it hours ago.
  25. It is a give away when people die they turn blue, one of the biggest "tells". Wait, what?
