  1. thanks for the write-up. The real deal lacks AR as well?
  2. From what I see the bracelet width is still really off on the new ones...
  3. pan-er-I I like bob straps, he has a section here and a website.
  4. Only if Ubi makes it (insert obligatory daytona picture)
  5. New VC overseas if you overlook the cross being a little off...
  6. Mikimoto is "the" brand to buy, they have a very distinctive clasp. They are the rolex of pearls (not the Patek or Vacheron though). Way over-priced for what you get. I lucked out when my girlfriend for some strange reason decided pearls are the ONE thing in life she doesn't care who they are made by. Shocker. Saved me 2/3 the price though! Best bet is to find someone local who imports by the finger (bunch of strands) and have them make you something. I know you are looking for a pendant, as you already have the strand necklace. I would still talk to someone local and see if you can get a deal. There is an older jewerly store her that does lots of estate jewelry that has a direct connection, you might check for something like that where you live.
  7. Wow, impressive. Watch ninja turtles growing up No watch on!?!?!?!?!?
  8. I like the VC box - shaped like a treasure chest!
  9. Its slay, not some noob - I think he is just a little offended; he has been around forever and would never pull such a scam (at least I don't think he would).
  10. You read the terms when you joined Ebay? I have no doubt it is covered somewhere in there... along with everything else such as alien attacks in the catch-all.
  11. I have many watches, along with rolex sub: real box, real papers, no watch - lol vacheron constantin: - real box, no papers, nice overseas rep Pam 111 - fake box, fake papers, fake watch (my favorite watch!). I have never shown the boxes or papers to anyone. I just like having them? Just for fun; can't really explain it. Saw them for sale and though, why the hell not? Doesn't have anything to do with passing them off, I just thought it would be fun.
  12. Not just for women! Not for me, but some of you.....
  13. Was my first rep many (~ years ago; bought one in china town. Loved that color! Bezel didn't even have a pearl.... just a metal dot. I was young.
  14. Wow they should send you to iraq. No bourbon to keep you warm^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H start a fire to keep you warm?
  15. I'm assuming there are reasons behind this I will never know, nor I need to know, and I can accept that. I want to commend RT on the work, he has put in a lot here. It is certainly a cool project. I'm hoping someone will hit on _the_ watch to do; I don't think the sweet spot one has come out yet. I think Pug's fortis was a step towards that general mass appeal. I am honestly wondering if there are many watches out there that are not repped that have broad appeal...
  16. Wow people really hate that hublot
  17. Not my business. But then my business is not a watch business... It is cost/benefit. Far be it from me to tell him what to do; but I would hate for something to be held back.
  18. Not sure what the votes are... but if it is the winner I think it would at least make sense to _tell_ Jay. If I were him I would want to know what the actual results were...
  19. Oh everyone here will shell out 500 for a MBW though; I know I have too. It is a VERY nice bag. great quality. The problem is, we are all guys, and bags are not our thing. In the big picture there are a million out there to one saying you "You paid HOW MUCH for a FAKE watch?" Worth it if it is your thing.
  20. Actually they may be real. Not a bad deal if they are. *Note - my way of determining if something is available rep or not is to search ioffer.
  21. http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-CARTIER-SANTOS-AVI...tem280056748304 Humm someone is repping the good stuff. Real vintage from China my ass.
  22. I may be interested once the pics come out. This could be interesting to give my mother, who would have no idea what a birkin is but would get a kick out of what a real one costs.
