  1. Bravo, Bravo, Bravo! Superb commentating- the perfect blend of history and analysis from Robbie and the macros...Lani- astounding!!!! You took to that macro lens like a fish to water! Simply amazing guys!
  2. Welcome to our humble little home!
  3. Nothing with Neil unless it involves a hammer or a swift kick in the nuts. Or both. Jackass. In contrast to RobbieG I love drinking, gambling, and cigars so I'd be all set... I've got a shitton of points with Royal Caribbean ...maybe I can cash something in...hmm. Alaska cruise is also awesome during the summer!
  4. Remember that resistance isn't necessarily how far you'll dive/ your depth underwater (static pressure)...it's also a measure of what the watch can handle at any given instance (ie- diving into the water- for a second, the pressure is higher than the "depth" of the water...TJ Gladerider did a thing on this a while back if I recall) I seem to recall that in a comparison test on a true dive, the Superocean failed before the Sea Dweller did... I've never had a problem with my SD...it tested down to 150-200m which is what that particular watchmaker's equipment could test to... I'd say get the WM9 SD and have someone epoxy seal the He valve if you're worried about it. Done.
  5. I mean all they really need are the external details and the dial/hands details...they've already got the movement figured out...
  6. Thanks! I'm just testing it out...not sure if I'll keep it or not...the jogging one is superb...we'll see what the membership thinks.
  7. I take it you mean "you" as the voting population of the USA?
  8. I agree about GWB but I chuckle to myself as all the "Change" rhetoric slowly becomes more of the same. Politicians will be politicians- there is always an agenda and there are always alterior motives. Always.
  9. I've not seen it on the dealer's sites... check with Narikaa to see if he can find it...
  10. I don't think the gen has a screw in crown...might depend on the model?
  11. Who was phone?
  12. Also- if you're going to do it yourself you need to be careful not to screw up the insert while sanding..
  13. Superb review by a superb member! Hopefully this will be archived and used as a reference for future questions/research!!
  14. I think the membership has pegged him wearing a TAG during his time in the Senate/ beginning of his campaign and currently wearing a quartz chronograph given to him by the Secret Service.
  15. Depends on my mood/what I'm doing but predominantly left
  16. http://users.tpg.com.au/wookie99/regulatingwatches.html Good luck!
  17. superb!!! excellent comment, love it!
  18. -1 Dewitt
  19. Beautiful, just beautiful! Enjoy!!
  20. Dewitt uses Ti in some of their models...they feel incredible on the wrist. Thanks for the guide!
  21. I'd switch VC and PP in this list as VC has become huge among the nuevo-rich in the last few years but I think you've nailed the list!
  22. Oh Chief you read my mind...I was wondering how long it would take you to post on this... Timmy Timmy Timmy...he doesn't care about what he's spending- It's not "his" tax money
  23. I just threw on The Usual Suspects
  24. Norton is a fat, bloated program...its annoying, it gets in its own way half the time....you're better off using sandbox tech for your emails and browser...run it all in a virtualized setting and then you can basically do whatever the hell you like... use Bank of America and sign up for SafePass (texts you a code to enter at the log in screen if it doesn't recognize the computer) and the RSA key for PayPal and your financials are as secure as they will be. Also, WPA2 encryption, TrueCrypt for any files you don't wanna share, and limit MAC addresses to your router...
  25. There's a reason I either only buy vintage Breitling or modern reps of Breitlings...I'm sorry but taking a kit ETA without doing ANY modification and pricing it at/above some Rolexes or Omegas is absurd. TAG is slightly ahead of them in my book as they have the C36.
