Agreed... now if it's a seconds @ six dial and the edge of the chrono hand overlaps the running seconds while stationary I can see where that would be annoying if you just wanted to see...say, running seconds, and never used the chrono function. But- then why buy the Daytona

Asian 2836 IHS should be perfectly fine... it's the dodgy lower end movements or the CHS that you might run into issues with

Lange also uses German silver for the 3/4 plating of the movement...it eliminates the need for rhodium plating (so they say) and, interestingly enough, will actually change color/ develop a patina over time.
