@ Sql: I know, I know lol. (PS they do sell just the lenses) I wore them for a week and was NOT impressed... went to return them today and got some sass about there being a "smudge" on the lenses (which polishes out, it was from sunscreen). The sales girl said they couldn't take them back even though the smudge polished out "because they initially appeared in less than resellable condition, and we have to go by the first impression" I wiped the smudge off and showed her the pristine lenses and told her that she could take them back as per their 30 day return policy and sell them as new to someone else, or I could call American Express and have them chargeback the merchant and more than likely keep the glasses to sell on eBay. She took them back. I ended up buying a nice pair or Maui Jims and a pair of RayBans. Happy as a clam

Hey All, I know I've got some pending trades, etc so I'm posting this in public: I've just completed a massive analysis project / some other stuff at work and with our latest favorable (VERY favorable) Q2 report and Q3-4 outlooks, our SR VP has given the department a well-deserved week off. I'll be at my family's lake house on Long Lake in Maine for the next week...I'll have my iPhone/ ThinkPad with me but I won't be online much (waterskiing and fishing to break in the new Oakleys http://oakley.com/pd/5539 in matte black ) Hope everything goes smoothly on the boards (esp. with this stuff over at RWI going on...). Well done Sean...regardless of motivation, etc it shows that people are willing to take a stand against predatory dealers... As for RepGeek...I'm learning to like it less and less... I'll be joining RWI this evening simply because you've made a superb showing... I will still consider RWG2 my "home base" but I'm glad to see many members here are also there...so I should be in good company Edit to add: I'm already a member haha...well, I'll be visiting then!!

1881 , formally incorporated in 1917 (I think) meaning if you're going by incorporation dates, it's about 6 years younger than Rolex. If you really want to feel quality, hold the new Grand Seiko's with the Spring Drive and just feel/notice the quality. You will be amazed.

I just purchased a Seiko Samurai for the hell of it... The lume on this thing is AWESOME! Seiko's LumiBrite is as good if not better than SuperLuminova.... I'd also like to point out that, from what I've read, Seiko has been producing their own in-house movements and components LONGER than Rolex has... Seiko was founded in the late 1800s, Rolex didn't exist until 1910 or so... Seiko is one of the only companies that makes ALL of its own components... their movements are all completely in-house, they manufacture their own cases, lume, etc... Pretty amazing what you can get... Also, their "Magic Lever" autowind system is so simple and efficient it's amazing that no one in the Swiss industry has copied their design...
