I'd add the Tag Link Chrono to this list. Fantastic rep and very close the the gen, an often forgotten excellent rep.

I really like that.

Snoopy is one of my all time favourite watches. It makes so many people do a double-take it's ace. Sadly I couldn't find a decent rep when I looked, I ended up buying a Moon to Mars instead.

Indeed, I'll be upgrading my 1st generation when the 2nd one is released here early next month. Large capacity (going to get the bigger one), 3G and GPS on top of what is already an excellent device is definitely a winner.

Interesting question. I have a Gen "Moon to Mars" Speedy which I bought because I loved the watch. If there had been a decent rep of it I might not own the Gen. If a decent rep came out and I bumped into people wearing it would I care? Not really. To be honest I find with ths particular watch people comment on the subdials and don't even realise it's an Omega (if they know what Omega is in the first place). You'd get the same reaction with a rep.

I also have a Blackberry Pearl for work and I can type much faster on the iPhone, the thing is the iPhone changes the size of the keys (not visibly) when it guesses what words you are typing as you go - very cool.

Just to prove it works I am posting this from mine now. If I were you I'd make sure you get the new one with 3g and gps.

There really is nothing like a gen. You just have to look at how many of us here owns gens along with reps.

I am often heard saying "why are you watching that crap?" in our house when this particular programme is on. Good to see some watch content (and rep at that) but it aint enough to make me watch it. Now if people starting calling out the reps of obnoxious little gits in front of the peers it would definitely be worth watching.

I scratched the bezel so bad on my SMP that I gave up, and my nails hurt pretty bad too. There is a guide around here somewhere telling you how to do it but I couldn't get mine off without resorting to tools.
