Another vote for the LMPO it is very impressive (once you've sorted the bracelet).
In terms of movements there is a view that if you choose Asian at least you get what you paid for. This of course has been complicated recently by some unexpected Asian movements.

Screwing up the half-link was my nightmare as the whole link fell apart and I had to use a blob of glue to make it stay back together. I might put mine on a leather deployment strap.
The link to send a PM to get the details on the upgrade page didn't work for me, I think even if that were fixed to go direct to you it might save some confused people.
http://www.rwgforum.net/pages/upgrade and click PM and you get a not found error.
Just opened the back of one with a craft knife and removed some foam, this now works with Rolex bracelets. Bretling and Tag are a bit wider and it being stopped by the plastic so I've ordered some foam and faux leather on eBay and I'll try and make my own!
They say that everyone who assumes every Rolex they see is a rep, I'd say more so with this. Although as you allude to in your post it is more about whether it fits with the rest of the person. To me you'd have to have a fair amount of bling to pull this off!
Well as an individual our ultimate sanction against any dealer is not to buy from them. As a community it becomes about the T in TD and influencing the people responsible for granting that status.
My wife has just bought me a fantastic watch winder as an early birthday present. It is absolutely gorgeous but I have a problem. My wrists are quite small so the bracelets on my watches are too tight for the watch cushions. I have this issue with watch boxes too it doesn't matter if they are a little loose there. In the watch winder of course they need to be tight because they move about. I presume you can buy these cushions / pillows and from a quick look on amazon that does seem to be the case but how do I get the right size? As a temporary measure I can wind my Omegas that have diving extensions (in the pic) and I am planning a bubble-wrap and tape experiment. Anyone come across and solved this issue?
The winder is currently sat on top of an air-conditioner unit until I can buy a decent table / cabinet for it so apologies for the photo.
Those blue plastic pin tools are frankly useless on anything remotely stubborn. The rest of the stuff is useful I'd say but invest in a better pin remover if you are going to try and use it on something stubborn like the LMPO. You can though get one of the solid metal pin tools on ebay for not much at all.
