  1. Ultimate V3 Hublot Big Bang Rose Gold Version. Profect !! Mark has a new version of the RG/ceramic HBB on his site. It has the correct rehaut color, and upgraded strap. Other than that it looks like the same low beat version he is selling for $400. Ummmm...I hope this is not the upgraded version we were talking about? $700 for the low beat A7750 without correct CF dial? I kinda think he missed the point.
  2. Nice collection. I love the meteroite dial Daytona. How does the rep compare to the GEN?
  3. No doubt!! I notice that Josh's site no longer has the $388 price anymore....but the preliminary $88,888...until the cartel can figure out how much to jack up the price. .......or maybe that's the new price. You know it's got ceramic...oooooh!!
  4. Wow!......Good looking out eagle eye. I never noticed that either. I am amazed sometimes at the attention to detail that some of our members have.
  5. @Pix, I think you are going to get as many opinions as there are posts here. I support your efforts with improving the current low beat RG/ceramic version: 1.) Better CF dial 2.) Correct rehaut color 3.) Higher grade strap and clasp. 4.) No AR (to keep prices down and make it easier for after-market coating) Like you said, these changes are being made with EXISTING parts. If we start making suggestions, like improving the engravings on the case-back or the font on the rotor, thicker crystal....... then in all liklihood this project will not happen. Gotta go with the "Keep it simple, stupid" principle. Again, thanks for your time and efforts. .......at some point the price of the V1 "HAS TO" come down. Maybe with the release of the CONCORD, as the focus will be shifted away from the HBB. I am cerainly not going to pay over $1000 for a rep.
  6. No problems as long as the factory AR is stripped before re-coating. Both Chief and K222 will do this as well for a nominal fee.
  7. Nice looking strap!! Now all you need is some AR action , a la Chief or K222. Really makes a difference on this watch IMO.
  8. WTF is that? Not very accurate. GEN: Forget this watch and whoever is selling them. Stick with the dealers on this board and you won't go wrong. Welcome BTW.
  9. I must say, although I do miss his sardonic wit.... I certainly do not miss his [censored] poor business practices. I have been waiting over 5 months for an MBK PP Nautilus. Starting to think I'm never going to see IT or the money I paid. I'm sure I can't be the only one.
  10. BEAUTIFUL!!!!.....just like the spinners on my rims. ....I think my brain is bleeding.
  11. I had the same question when the flat 6 first came out. The response I got from Joshua was that there WERE going to rep the bracelet...and that it is coming out SOON.............................
  12. One thing I am curious about. How does the CF dial grain markings compare to the lite version?. Some have said that the grain is not the same on the second factory watch, giving the dial a sort of checkerboard effect, when compared to the watch produced by the first factory.
  13. You can always try one of these: hxxp://buyviewguard.com/anti-glare-screen-protectors/index.php?id=VG-32205. Don't know what that would do for color and contrast levels though. No real good option for TV's though, other than to watch in a dark room.
  14. Bose is to sound systems as Oreck is to vacuum cleaners. Smart marketing techniques. Way overpriced for the quality of performance.
  15. That's exactly the point. Plasma still has better picture fidelity, deeper black levels, wider viewing angle and better price point over LCD. Refresh rates?...meh... sounds like another gimmick to try and justify the higher price of these sets. IMO
  16. You guys are killing me.....One of the funniest threads I have read. Thanks!!
  17. The clasp is very comfortable. I haven't had the same problems that other members have. Here's the wrist shot. I have around 7" wrists, but the watch looks kinda large. Definitely very flashy. Me like.
  18. Not true....there IS a texture on the CF dial...It may however be more subtle than the first factory version.....Worth $800?
  19. Mickey, there is a grain, my pics, dont show that very well. The boxes alternate vertical grain with horizontal grain. I think you are right about the variations. Here is one that, has less grain:
  20. Ok, my camera has returned from the GF outing with her hot friends. Wish I could post some of those pics here....(woah), but as promised, here are some pics of my HBB from Mark. How does it compare to the high beat watch sold by many dealers for $1200+? .....You decide. Here is the 21.6K version, most easily recognized by the bolder date font...and by how the sound differs from a 28.8K. The knurled edge bezel is REAL ceramic...not PVD like the light versions from other dealers. Carbon fiber dial. I can't tell if this one is different from the GEN and 28.8K; Looks to me like the lines in the squares are more uniform than the other two....but you would need a loupe to tell. The rotor is engraved...not as sharply as the GEN, but a helluva improvement over the CroOkEd stickers waiting to fall into the movement on the high beat watch. Like I said, mine does not have all the engraving on the case back...but some pics on Mark's website show this watch with it / some don't The crown is push in....true to the GEN ...earlier versions had a screw down crown, but looks like that has been corrected This is my best attempt at an AR shot. Taken in my bathroom, where the lighting is the best. Doesn't do the crystal justice though. The dial really POPs when outdoor lighting hits it. The AR IMO is close to but that on the SFSO....but no where near Chief's & K222's The deployant clasp is all gold-plated, unlike the 28.8K version with PVD. I am not sure which is more correct; however most of the photos I have seen of the real-deal are all gold. Some members are hesitant to buy this beauty, due to the low beat movement problems in the past. But as stated before, by The Zigmeister, if properly serviced, should last a long time..... or replace the movement when it fails
  21. The watch is definitely 21.6K. But overall aesthetically more accurate than the 28.8.K. The 21.6K case back , however, does not have all of the engraving that the GEN has . (ie "Titanium" and "Gold 750 Ceramic" engraving). At least mine does not, but hardly a deal breaker.
  22. Thanks Mickey. I would love to... and that was my intention as I feverishly searched for my camera. Alas I came to find out that my GF has hijacked my camera for her weekend trip. I will try and post some pics when I get it back.
