  1. Have to be careful with TT subs. The gold color is usually not very close as well the dial color being off. The dial looks like it is too light.
  2. At the risk of admitting I watch the show....I saw Randy Jackson on American Idol last night, wearing a huge-a$$ watch...anyone know what he wears?
  3. Thanks Freddy....Its a rep with ETA movement. (If only it were gen)... I think you answered my question. The stem seems like it's properly seated now and does not pull out of the watch. Thanks again...
  4. I'm hoping someone can help me out here.. I was setting the time on my Rolex DD and pulled the crown and stem completely out of the watch. It did not take a lot of force to perform this bone-head maneuver. I am very careful with my watches and never man-handle them. I was able to get the stem back in without any trouble and the watch appears to be working fine. I have read on other posts that it is possible the screw holding the stem in may be loose. Before I open up my watch, I just wanted to know what the experts think.. Thanks
  5. Ziiinnggg!!!
  6. Too bad for your pets V...Leona left something like 12 million to her dog "Trouble"
  7. What a greedy evil looking, biotch......I guess if I had a face like that, I'd feel like the world owed me something too . Although post-mortum has become quite a philanthropist these days
  8. No harm, no foul.... There is a rumor floating around that Rolex is releasing a new 42mm Daytona...possibly with a date window.... any truth to that?
  9. I had the same question....According to Joshua, the bracelet will be available soon (whatever that means)
  10. Is there a way to bookmark your favorite posts within the forum? I know you can do it from your web browser, but I think it would be much tidier if you can keep an internal list of posts you want to refer to later. .......or am I the only one who would like to have this feature?
  11. I think King has the first generation sec @ 6 for sale on her site.. Different rotor though. Is this the low profile case?
  12. Geez!....and here I thought the Chronofighter was ugly.
  13. I have to agree... I personally have not bought any second hand watches due to the fact that I am more willing to take my chances with the collectors. There seems to be a look the other way attitude when watches that are being re-sold here are over-priced or not up to snuff. You have to read between the lines on the responses. This is a community of watch enthusiasts, and as a community I feel it is our duty to protect each other from shady deals. A simple solution would be to OUT those members who are willing to screw the rest of us....
  14. Try TWP or Angus
  15. Definitely stickers....and they look like they are about to fall off into the movement.
  16. Mmmmmmm.....sushi..
  17. The current versions have good potential, but IMO too many flaws presently.
  18. Not a big fan of the square Bell & Ross watches, but this one is interesting. Don't know how accurate the rep is but the orange color looks a little too orangey? ...and the crown is too big. Isn't it supposed to have a He valve also?
  19. I totally agree...thats a hot watch!!! I like the carbon fiber dial version.
  20. Don't know if Angus has a stock of them or if he just can source them on an as needed basis. Mine did not look BNIB, had a few scratches. Don't know what to make of that.
  21. Nice watch!!!....the price is pretty outrageous too. The chrono on a bracelet is over $36,000 USD That's alot of gold.
  22. RKIK, Trust me.....you want to research before jumping in and opening your wallet... All replicas are not of the same ilk, some are good, some are not so good. You ARE in the right place and that's half the battle. No AAAA+ Swiss reps here. What Ken said is true....there is a wealth of knowledge found here. The more you know the better your decisions what to buy will be. It's a process that becomes an addiction. Good luck.
  23. I bought one from Angus....cost 30 USD plus shipping
  24. How good is the plating on the RG HBB? Has anyone had any problems with the plating wearing off? I am just about to pull the trigger on one....but at the current prices it is one of my main concerns.
