  1. Oh and COD I might add so I can "check the merchandise and be satisfied before paying for it". What a crock.
  2. Ah, good ol TRC. The place where I cut my teeth after coming so close to buying a "genuine made in Switzerland A+++ 31 jewels Rolex with diamond like markers that test exactly like diamonds!!!!!" *sigh* To be so young and stupid....
  3. The movement is nice, looks like my gen fiddy movement except mines is stamped PANERAI across the movement. I gave up trying to find a gen fiddy dial and hands.
  4. Happy birthday and many more.
  5. The Zigmeister, you have contributed 1,948 informative posts. That number alone speaks for itself. If you ever need anything, please call on me. I never turn my friends down.
  6. This is next on my list. I've convinced the wife it will make a nice xmas present for me along with the tie and socks.
  7. Is it just me or is the "12" and "6" better on ver. 2 than the ultimate? Other than that the ultimate is far superior, especially the fonts.
  8. He got called out so it serves him right. Not to worry Ken, my wife too loves your pics!
  9. @r11co - I saw you had already went down this road after I posted this. Let the record show you figured it out first. :-)
  10. It sold for $235 USD????
  11. Ok it is time for me to give back to the forum. This is for those of you that don't know how to micro adjust the TAG Link bracelet. Position your watch like in this picture courtesy of By-Tor: There are holes on both sides where the clasp meets the link, it looks like nothing is there. Take a VERY small screwdriver and push inside one of the holes. You will feel a spring, push it all the way in then gently pull the clasp away. You will find that there is a short spring bar holding it together. Make sure the spring bar doesn't get away from you. Again with the watch positioned like the picture, you want to put the bar back in the 3rd hole to the right. Basically you are putting the clasp closer to the link it is attached to which will make the bracelet a little smaller when you put it on, but when closed it will make the bracelet a little bigger. If you use the first hole on the left (again based on this picture) the bracelet will seem larger when you put it on, but will close up smaller. I hope this helps someone.
  12. I had on my beater PO which I put in my pocket. I NEVER wear a rep in a AD. I find it to be bad form.
  13. So the warden, I mean wife goes "let's stop at that Jared" on the way home from work. I almost take out 3 cars to make the turn into the parking lot. This is a complete 180 from when I would ignore her and keep going straight. So we enter, I head straight for the watches, she for the diamonds. I start out at the TAG Heuers with a nice young lady helping me. I'm talking the talk, actually knowing what I am saying thanks to the By-Tor and Stephane reviews not to mention others. I go through the Omegas, Rollies, and even a Movado or two. Before long I have 5 clerks "helping" me, impressed with my knowledge of watches. Well at this point the warden announces that time on the yard is up and drags me out of there. In 20 years this is the first time she was ready before me. :-))
  14. So how much do you want for it? I have a lovely suit that would fit nicely with that watch. PM sent!!!!
  15. I agree the seller is being upfront, but he's only covering $200 on PP. I can see this one going well into $2,000.
  16. No not really. Most of the Omega lovers get gen dials/hands/bezel/inserts and sometimes even the crystal and crown. At that point it really doesn't matter who the dealer was, you just want a good movement and bracelet.
  17. I do however like how the chrono pushers flow with the case. It's like they aren't there.
  18. The fonts are all jacked up. I'd buy one if I could source a gen dial. I wonder if it will have the noisy rotor problem?
  19. I too love that 2254.50.00 model. I have a gen dial and will source a watch, then get gen hands and bezel/insert.
  20. No the guy who got beat up is the Scotsman.
  21. No problem. So it has a gen dial and insert? If so is it a MBK 11610? I have a black TT MBK sub and just sourced a gen dial and insert for it.
  22. The pic of the insert by itself doesn't appear to be the same insert on the watch...
  23. Right click, Save Image As....
  24. This Pattaya Daily News is some interesting reading!
  25. The TWP 112H on SS? Sweet watch, how do you like it? Are the mods worth it?
