  1. Here is a little something to get you in the xmas spirit. http://www.iconnicholson.com/holiday/ Here is my current high score
  2. Taken from the pugwash post..."the location of the mysterious stall in the MBK shopping centre" The best I ever got of the location is, "across from the KFC" Not very helpful since there has to be hundreds of watch stalls in this shopping complex.
  3. ah...good old MBW. Of course nowadays it is politically correct to use the term MBK. Read the post by Pugwash, it is very informative.
  4. I like it!!
  5. Yes TT and I own the same one in black. Actually it's his but we in this together. A VERY nice present to yourself, I do have a black MBK version what is going to get a gen dial and insert. It will never be as nice as yours and TT's, so you guys wear them in good health.
  6. Yeah at least throw a teaser pic in here!
  7. I would SERIOUSLY wear one on each wrist to work. That outta freak out the co-workers.
  8. Let one go??? You can't break up the twins! If you do one twin, you got to do the twin sister...it's in the rule book! Wait I lost my train of thought.....
  9. That is a fine looking timepiece. Very classy.
  10. Is that the double AR version or did you get in on one of the AR runs? Your AR looks better than the double AR Ingy from the factory.
  11. Is that PVD coating? Looks good.
  12. Ok first mistake, NEVER go into any AD and talk about a UPO. There is no such thing. Omega makes the PO. A friend of mines just went into a AD and asked for the UPO. He probably got escorted out. Wear the rep PO and you'll enjoy it. If you're anal like most of us here are, get it modified and it'll look that much more "gen". The only watch I wear that anyone ever asks "is it fake" is the Rolex.
  13. More than one member has been able to get the dial only from Silix. I heard something like $24/25 USD for one.
  14. So how much do you want for it? Just joking, enjoy it. It is a fine looking strap.
  15. What type of watch did you buy yours for? Mines is a TAG Link Chrono but I'm hearing most people use this DW for the PAM's.
  16. Exactly how I got sucked in. Now I have 4 including a fiddy with a gen movement. I could of bought at least 10 reps with what I paid for that gen movement.... And I didn't like the PAM's in the beginning.
  17. Will the DW from a ETA 7750 fit the Asian 7750?
  18. We'll gladly help but please unstick your caps lock. I have never been able to remove any Omega link, my local watchsmith guy at the mall does it for me. I think you may need special tools for Omega.
  19. Help me hold jfreeman down!
  20. Well then I need to tell my wife! Or does this only apply to the single people? You single guys are lucky!
  21. I'll be the first to admit I didn't go to college and I'm an idiot, but this makes no sense to me. If the watch has a crystal, how will that help the blind? I'm assuming braille watches have no crystal.
  22. I usually take it as, it's 10:10 somewhere right now!
  23. Even though this is an older post, it is still an EXCELLENT review! I recently acquired a TT MBK sub and verified it by taking the bracelet off and sure enough, "POLEX" design. I was dismayed to find that the bracelet was the "single" end wrapped one, not a good bracelet at all. I was left to wonder did the original owner change it or did it slip through the cracks? Working with one of the best dealers we have, he sourced me the TT bracelet that is fully wrapped at the endlinks. I went through the hassle because the watch will be visiting Canada for a full service and to get a gen dial and insert installed. I could not perform these mods then have a sub par bracelet. That is like having a great sports car with bad tires on it...
  24. Someone who can tell you EVERYTHING about watches but cannot remember their own anniversary and when you say "how are the kids?", they go kids? Kinda like us.
  25. Yeah I have one of those too. It's some sort of PP complication model that I swear if you stare at it hard enough and use the force the rotor spins. The problem is that the damn thing sounds like a jet spooling up it's engines. Impossible to wear, I actually stuck it in my pocket the last time I wore it to work. Between that one and a sub that some member who claimed he could mod then stole made me leave the hobby for about 2 years. It wasn't even a good sub!
