The bezels are ceramic. The process of making ceramic case is far more involved and expensive. I would bet you will never see proper rep of any ceramic case HBB.

R- You are now so spoiled. I know you remember waiting around for 3 weeks with no tracking number in the old days. You are as bad as the neophytes.

I always wear one and bring one. One is always more formal (leather strap) and the other more sporty (bracelet or rubber). I have had customs look through my stuff but only when returning into the home country. The simple answer "one for day and one for evening" is both convincing and true.

It is really too bad no one can get to Honpo these days as they are the only one with a ti case 194. It was an excellent rep in the first place. That one would be far superior to any of the 187's currently available. Given that Honpo relocated to China it is very surprising that no other dealer has sourced this yet.

Well, I really got a bargain.

Mine is on the way with tracking number. As is aways the case, show a little patience with a trusted dealer and you will be rewarded.

I assume he has only one and it is an 89. He roams around NYC a fair amount so I have seen it on his wrist.

Mellow yellow is the only way to go. Proper ceramic bezel (as are all the ceramic bezels) and SS case - as it should be and complete with all proper markings.

It looks like a SS chrono avenger to me. Is it the same size?

I third that. For the brief period of time I had my first one I went to the AD and compared. IMHO, not worth it.

Still one of m favorite PAM's. It is a great piece and the lume makes a huge difference. Enjoy it and wear it well.

I do hope it is a redesigned movement. I would love a solid Big Date movement. It would allow for a number of new reps.

Mine is EMS - that is what gets the watches back and forth to Rob. With that the only other tool I need is a watchwinder. I hate having to reset all those day/dates. I do screw off the caseback and play around inside or change a strap every once in a while to "get my hands dirty". The problem with "getting my hands dirty" is that it usually results in someone else getting his hands dirty to fix my mess. Ask Rob about the toaster incident.

You get what you pay for? I don't own the watch but just bought a gen crown anyhow. I have no idea whether it is the right size though.

Because there is on the gen as well. I think the guys first name was August. You just have to know your Saints.
