Glad to see it. Superlume does make a huge difference. Would never buy a PAM rep without budgeting in SuperLume. Get on an elevator having been outside with someone wearing a gen and it is not a pretty picture.
They no longer sell the $850 version. The site says it will come back (i.e. out of stock). We are hoping that version comes back with the 7753 movement. Otherwise it will not be coming back.
Very nice description. Can't wait to see it. I am still holding off on the H series until someone makes a proper crown guard (larger with lever centered) for it.
Shultz-
It looks great. I swapped movements on mine as well. I am long two dials as well. First I bought a blue and then I bought the black with metal markers (like yours). Try luming the "metal dots". Luming the hands and dial will make it even better though.
Sorry to hear that Thomas. I was curious how they could know the watch was new unless you were carrying the box or receipt.
Usil-
Ship the watches back in a Ferarri. I promise they won't notice.
Wouldn't it be easier to buy a new titanium one. But if you are going to go to that much trouble I would start hunting for an inexpensive Swiss 7750 on ebay.
DW 6263 (Compliments of Ubi)
MBW Red Sub (Tribalizedy and Ziggified)
Chrono Avenger (Swiss movement and relumed)
PAM 127 - Engraved movement, Relume, Pin Fix
Almost There:
PAM 2893 GMT (Palp Crown, Jimmy CG,Watchman cyclops, relumed - with datewheel will be 99%)
PAM 2892-A2 Power Reserve (New Crown, Jimmy CG, Watchman cyclops, relumed - with datewheel will be 99%)
PAM 36 (Josh's) - On the way. Will need a relume though.
They lock the buttons down against the case and do make the pushers waterproof on mine. Similar mechanism to the Daytonas. I don't know if there are gaskets there. Somehow I doubt it. But they do work. On some versions (perhaps all) the pushers are too long and so when you screw them all the way down you see threads and the Gens are more accurately cut so no threads appear.
Arch-
You're right. But someone is going to have to do a major redo on the crownguards for the H series and I suspect for future non-H series models. That fat-_ss H crownguard is damn impressive. Both the older gen and rep CG's are not nearly as impressive.
