I don't know which is worse - Miami Vice IWC or Slytech PAM. Although I do have to say that I saw one of The JayZ AP's on him and it was almost tasteful - diamonds and all.

Other than gold for dress occasions and the issue of fitting a watch under a cuffed shirt I don't think twice about it. I pick whatever watch I want first. The clothes are unimportant. Now I do match my watch straps with my belts and shoes though.

Ultimately, it is the dealer's decision but I think Neil has the right idea. Who in their right mind would take paypal from a first time buyer for the sale of an illegal item? As for the noobs who find the dealers through the forums I have no sympathy. Why? The neophytes wouldn't know about the dealer otherwise. If a noob doesn't trust the reviews by other members than we don't want them here anyhow. Finally, if there is a problem they should be bright enough to know they can publicly raise it on the forum. At the end of the day I don't think there is a way to police the membership effectively. The dealers have to make their own decisions and they should certainly have access to a bad buyers list either on the forum or amongst themselves.

IMHO, write it off. If you Go through a long song and dance you run the risk they build a file on you. Who knows what Chad's intentions are. What I can say is that I have every PAM rep relumed. Without proper C3 superlume your PAM SCREAMS rep every time you get on an elevator or walk in from the outdoors. If you own or have ever owned a gen it drives you nuts. IMHO, as relates to PAM's - no glow - no go. After all, you never know when you are going to have to climb into that two-man sub.

V is right so long as it is L Swiss L and not T Swiss T. Look at the bottom of the dial. But on the L Swiss L our modders with C3 is so good that the dial on my GMT matches up beautifully with a set of genuine GMT hands I have.

Totally depends on what brand or watch you are looking for. L Swiss L Panerai use C3 SUper Lume. Anything which says T Swiss T is using Tritium which you can no longer get out on in the aftermarket. Rolex is a whole other kettle of fish. Age of genuine watch has huge impact as well. Which watch are you talking about?
