If that is the case than my older gens are all defective. Tritium lasts longer than Lume.Tritium is good for something like 20 years (half life or something like that), lume fades after 5-7years or so. An expert should chime in if I have the time periods wrong.

I actually own a portable electrp stim that can hangs on the belt, uses a 9 volt battery and can carry up to 4 pads. I highly recommend them if you have continuing trouble.

Sorry to hear it. Chiro is a good start. If it does not get better over the next few days you will end up going to orthoped for x-rays and MRI. MRI is the only diagnostic that worked for me. As for relexing the muscles around the problem I find the most helpful is to alternate heat and ice. I spent a summer in one of the leading sports medicine rehab facilities with Larry Bird and Bill Walton. At the end of the day (if it is not simple cyatica) it is either surgery or dedicated and consistent stretching and exercising of the muscles around the back and stomach area. Best of luck.

I am curious to know whether the mechanism to drive the GMT is the same as in the gen since that is what they use. In theory you could put in a Swiss 7750 and have another original movement PAM.

Has anyone else started getting Party Poker pop up after closing out RWG? I get it on 3 different computers and never did before. Just curious.

And now the only versions with the brushed crown guard and correct spelling of tachymeter for these versions is Eddie and he only has it in the Asian 7750 version. Will wonders never cease.

I can't say I have ever noticed outside ar coating on gens but then again I don't have one in front of me so I can't say. i have seen other watches with outside coating and they did scratch and you end up witha rainbow effect. So I assumed it related to two different coats on the inside. But then again the technology may have improved. The crystal on Ken's original version of the 187 (IMHO) has world class anti-relective properties. As good as gens I have had. His description says that it is double coated on the inside.

I have never heard that the gen is coated on the outside as well. Don't you run the risk that the coating would be scratched when the sapphire crystal wouldn't - unless the new technology for coatings make the scratch resistance as good as sapphire.

For my money, it is the new 8 days above. On the effeminate gold radiomirs it is counter to PAM's theoretical positioning but wear it to a black tie event and the women will ooh and aah! I am happily effeminate. Guys appreciate a 187. Chicks love a big-ass gold radiomir. Very mature I know.

If you are talking about a gen I would exchange it. That is one of the reasons why you paid what you did. I do have the issue with occasional not perfect chrono reset on my 7750's though. Winding is smooth as silk though.

Probably still more intellignet than my comment. The person who has taken apart and reassembled more Asian 7750's than one can imagine is Ziggy. He will be back in September.

The 188 and 196 have the correct bezel spelling. On the cases for the 250 and 251 I would be surprised if it is different from the "new" case since, to the best of my knowledge, there are only two factories which produce (produced in the case of the older case) the 188 and 196. The new case only came about when the original factory ceased production. The second factory elected to save some money.

Why do you coat both sides? I didn't think the gen is.

I am sure artoero has an intelligent answer but mine is the difference in the quality of the parts and finding whatever crap has been left in the movement. If an Asian 7750 dies and I still like the rep I usually favor replacing it with Swiss.
