  1. Is that for real?, I'd want a bit more for my $$$ NAH its not getting my vote sorry ST4
  2. Bluejelly I feel your pain mate, when you first arrive its really intense and information overload. Take a deep breath and try to enjoy yourself abit. Its supposed to be fun and part of that fun is a little bit of stress. I've had a few 7750 never had them serviced and they've been fine. Of course it would be best to look after them but that's not always possible, cost and finding a rep friendly watchsmith. the big thing to remember is not to change the date with the hands between say 10 and 2. The reason being that is the sort of time the Date / Day would change on it own and moveing it then could I guess stuff up the gears/ wheels. Buy the one you want, wear it and then next month by the other one. Just remember they are Reps and 10th of the cost of a gen. Hope this helps and we look forward to seeing your first choice ST4

  5. Looking good Jay, Nice combo ST4
  6. It is difficult to be sure in some the pictures with the leather strap its just about Ok. the picture of the movement clearly shows a regulator that is similar to the 7753 , i know they do them on some of the 12 9 6 A7750 but I'm not sure there are any with the 9 6 3 A7750 perhaps if someone owns one they could chime in. Then the picture of the dial and the steel bracelet looks bad , and I don't know if is the angle or not. Better pictures required and I'd ask if they were the same watch ST4

  11. I was at at Charity dinner with the wife the other weekend, sat next to a Banker bloke who was bigging it up that he played POLO etc.....(whatever), anyway he had a Gen Pam 159, it was sweet, the Date font was MASSIVE . My Dear Wife then points to his watch and says to me out loud , "is that one of those Thingy Watches you like?", "My Husband is obsessed by watches" blah Blah, then the Bloke next to my wife goes "Are you 2 (me and Banker) wearing the same watches?", to which I return, No Mine is a Chronograph his is a GMT, other bloke shrugs shoulders, (he's seen my UPO before and lusted after it). Banker turns to me and says mines a 40mm do you want to try it on. I decline sheepishly. I had my 7753 196 on. It was not the best of moments it has to be said on a table of 10.
