  1. Thats exactly what tona I'd get , was that from Spin or DW? its a great looking watch wear it well
  2. I think you lads really need to ask yourselves if the rep game is really for you. Firstly don't look at the back , if you were allergic to peanuts would you still eat them. Secondly do you really only own one Panerai? Why can't you just try a Luminor case back from an 005 or similar and see. It should fit.
  3. Thought I'd show the 2 case types for the older type Daylights. At the risk of offending the origi-risti's, I actually prefer the incorrect case sets slimmer profile, lower bezel and chrono buttons. Have always wondered how the incorrect case set came about , does anyone know? ST4
  4. I'm not sure why , but I just dont like the Chrono pushers on these Luminor cases Same with the 356 whose dial I really like
  5. The Gen http://www.projectxdesigns.com/watches/pre-blacked-7/ I actually quite like it , though I dont think its all anti print quality pvd
  6. Given the recent replica Rolex movement it is a case of maybe , but really unlikely The p9000 is a massive movement and would probably mean all the case would need to be changed. I really don't think the rep is as bad as you guys make out I am not sure if they might be able to put a cover plate on it to CAL . P 9000 I am more keen to see the new manual movement P.999 Do you think they could change the plates of the A6497 and get it to look like it? or the p3000
  7. That was a pretty decent watch to start with so you set the bar pretty high. I'm sure you will find some more goodies to enjoy here.
  8. Nah I wouldn't worry bout it , it will turn up. Though I did have a mate who had a Pine cone christmas decoration stopped at customers and was charged $60 for it to be disposed
  9. Great write up, thank you for putting his together
  10. I keep looking at this and keep thinking I wish it was mine , stunning build
  11. Not that the gen is much to look at though either
  12. Sweetness and light thats one top collection
  13. Yeah its very different but few people tend to mention it as PreV/A seem to get precedence around here. I reckon the L SWISS L are the best dials. They are almost flush with the dial and look to be very much an integrated part to it ,rather than the obviously applied Sausage type of the E series onwards especially the 000 & 005. Here is C series 055 Who knows maybe one day we will see a good L SWISS L , but i doubt it will ever be a nice as your gen
  14. I'm not sure if the 086 is the best looking watch , grey/anthracite can be a very dull and a bit uninspiring as colour. I reckon there are better gens to be had
  15. I dont know what the process was for the lume on the C-D series but is really my favourite type and its has never been replicated . You are very lucky and your watch looks awesome , what did you do with the movement though?
  16. Wow fantastic quality watches top notch work , thanks for the comparisons
  17. I think you are right there. Personally I think the PR position on the 27/28 is much better as it makes the dial more balanced to look at. These newer PR always look slightly odd do to the PR's position. Saying that in my early rep day I always hankered after the 123 destro PR version for some reason. I don't think it has minute indicators arround the side and looks a less fussy dial. This new 90 is basically just a 104 with a dial swap at the end of the day. I thought it might be due to the A7750 chrono underpinnings that prevented a work PR but the GEN probably has the same movement so it must be possible I guess.
