In GR before I left for UK I had this beauty (which I sold to my best friend and he crashed and destroyed it) Now its a write-off (my friend is ok) Deltona Integrale engine, 300Hp+ front wheel drive with turbo and hell difficult to drive VIVA ITALIA!!!

Very nice strap Gil.. You know what I noticed???? You took off the SC buckle, and used only the tongue part with the rep buckle.. VERYYYYY NICE!!!!!!

About waterproof straps... 1st the Metta is not waterproof.. If you do the mistake and put a strap that old in the sea without the appropriate care it will tear apart. It was not in the sea for 200 years but in tar which allowed the leather to preserve. It is an exquisite strap but need a lot of care to preserve it. 2nd the best waterproof straps are either the plastic ones (and by saying plastic I mean the plastic leather ones ) or the rubberized calfs. (an example is the MP6)

Ahhhh... my fellow collector.. Exquisite taste (except of course this ugly brown monitor lizard) You know that because of you I got the Hirsch and the Prada strap...

Chris I don't understand what you mean in your first sentence... What do you want me to take photo of? BTW.. The thinner CG (profile) is the rep one.. The thick is the gen

From the third photo you can also see clearely that the lugs are different... The gen are bigger and with different shape at the end.

One of the most obvious differences between the rep and the gen is the CG but not face on but profile. Face on, on the wrist they are almost identical. Left gen, right rep Up gen, down rep Another thing though that NONE has ever mentioned is the thickness of the caseback.. Gen caseback is THICKER than the rep one and it IS visually obvious when you see the watches side by side and most important when you wear them because gen sits higher on your wrist. I don't know if you will manage to see from those photos but in reality it is considerably more thick. rep:
