  1. Yes, I read some more about this dips**t, he was also charged with stolen cars, he brought over to the US a McLaren also, and some British financial institution reported these cars stolen.
  2. Randy, look in Photo Gallery under Omega, I've got a wrist shot of my new 42mm Anrew PO on rubber, I have a 6.5"" wrist.
  3. 2006 Scion xA (not the box, but the hatchback) in indigo blue. Perfect city car, I can "tuck" (park) it in places other cars can't. Super nimble, high seating position, nicely finished and appointed for the money, I paid $14,700 with side air bags.
  4. I think the best combo is the orange bezel with the black rubber strap, congrats! Beautiful, distinctive watch
  5. OK, so isn't the logo a bit too high if this is the 42mm version? Isn't it supposed to be just above the word Omega? Also, Andrew, can you answer this question, you mentioned the dial matching the bezel, in what way? All in all, thought, this is one FINE watch.
  6. Andrew, well done! Is this PO available with black rubber strap?
  7. H**y S**t Archibald -63rd and Cali? St. Rita's? I am speechless. I grew up at 68th & Rockwell, my dentist was at 63rd & Washtenaw, you could see St. Rita's from the chair while he was drillin' away! Do you remember El Bianco's Restaurant, or is that before your time?
  8. Let's make this happen, and soon. It's been tried twice before, lots of initial interest, but then the momentum just sort of fizzled out.
  9. Excellent post, r11co, perfect advice!
  10. I'm from Chicago, north sider. Count me in for a GTG please.
  11. Try Sean at etaswiss.net, he has some, dunno if MOP dial though.
  12. Here is a close up pic of the rubber strap end and the way if fits against the side of the watch case. Is this normal? Or should the strap end fit much closer to the case? Thanks very much for any advice or comments.
  13. Yes, thanks for pointing that out. Mine came with the steel bracelet, and I bought the black rubber strap. As I was fitting the rubber strap, I noticed that there is a small, round, sharp piece of metal protruding from the middle of the rubber strap end that sits up against the watch case, on both 6 and 12 o'clock sides. So it makes the strap end sit a bit away from the case, and not snug against it. Do you guys have the same thing going on with your PO rubber straps? Is this something I need to talk to Andrew about?
  14. Ha, gothcha! If I'd said "got my PO from Andrew today" nobody would have bothered to view my post. So here it is, with the uncommon orange bezel/black rubber combo, on my skinny 6.5" wrist. It really is a gorgeous watch, very well finished. I am very happy right now. Thanks, Andrew!
  15. AP RO Offshore chrono, rose gold ,black rubber strap IWC Portuguese, rose gold, black dial
  16. Thanks much for your (ahem) mostly helpful responses, guys. (Would cooking spray Pam work just as welll as WD40?) Anyway, it looks like the majority just let 'em run until they die, then replace movement, but, I kinda like Kruzer's philosophy also.
  17. Hi, everyone - I know this has been asked before, on the old RWG but I thought it would be good to get an updated response on this. How many of you right away send out to The Zigmeister or Joe, or your own watchsmith your brand new rep for preventive servicing of the movement - cleaning, oiling and regulating? I'm talking about just the standard ETAs found in the Subs, Yachtmasters etc. We talk so much about perfecting the appearance of our watches with mods but there isn't much talk about movement servicing, other than the asian 7750s. I've had PMs done to a few of my reps a long time ago, but that kind of fell by the wayside. Today I was thinking about my new reps (5 this year) and how much I've paid for them, and beginning to worry that maybe I should get them serviced, remebering what The Zigmeister has told us about the condition he finds some new movements. I know he services his reps as soon as he gets them.
  18. Did you get this with the 7760 movement directly from David, or was a different movement installed after you got it?
  19. Your beautiful photos have finally persuaded me - I'm going to contact Andrew for the 42mm orange bezel/black rubber strap, I think that would look very cool.
  20. 9 a.m. Chicago here - going to have brunch with family today. Haven't decided which watch to wear yet, but I think it will be the MBW blue Tt Sub, as pretty as a jewelled easter egg. Life is very good! Happy Easter, Passover, Sangram etc. to all of you - and most of all Happy Spring - the beginning of short sleeve weather which means showing off your best reps to the world.
  21. I've never seen a rep like this - and I've been looking a long time.
  22. You can obtain this movement and waterproofing service from The Zigmeister, DaytonaT and RBJ, so how would this be different?

    PAM 050

Sorry for double post - I was interrupted by spouse before I hit post button!

    PAM 050

Beautiful watch - I'm considering getting, it perfect for my skinny wrist. I must ask though, can this version of the 7750 cause problems? Thanks!
