First we had Dubya, who pioneered the use of the "internets". And now Intel seems to be using the "full internet". I suppose the next technological evolution will be the "full internets".
I would like to see how the Google performs on the full internets, on the iPhone.
To be fair, AR on the date magnifier is something that AP have introduced only recently. The vast majority of gen ROOs don't have AR on the date magnifier.
I agree, but we were talking about how easy it would be to rep it from the pictures alone. Dadog thinks it wouldn't be a problem. Do the makers of the super reps ever rep from pictures alone? I thought they always bought the real deal and repped it from that.
They can't even get the regular Scuba models right (in this era of so-called super reps), yet you're still confident they'd do a decent job with the Bartorelli? We can all dream, I suppose, but let's be realistic here.
They'll never be able to get the original Bartorelli ROO to rep it properly and any attempt to rep it from pictures has disaster written all over it. The bronze bezel means the rep would be even more inaccurate. I can just imagine them putting a City of Sails or Polaris caseback on it. Other than that, I'm all for it.
I would go for the 3717 (for the reasons stated above), although I'd be careful about which version you get. Apparently the current reps aren't as good as the ones that EL was selling when it first came out in early 2007. I have one from EL and it's superb.
I think we may have served together - I was part of the special ops team that helped Austin Powers take out Dr Evil. I was also offered Secret Service Presidential Protective Detail, but I let Clint Eastwood have it because he was slightly better qualified (he's also been a cowboy and a cop).
The latest Rubberclads appear to still use the AP caliber 2326, although the 3126 will follow. Maybe towards the end of the G series or perhaps in the H series. I believe the AR coating on the cyclops began sometime in the F series, not G.
Also, the seller's description of "Black Arabic Numerals" doesn't cut it.
The reason why they're black is because the lume is missing. I wonder why that is.
The buyer would have to find someone to fix that.
