Same, here I was thinking damn the rep boxes are getting better (not knowing the watch or box was "gen" at first sight, scrolled quickly) then others / Pug stated the so-called obvious, took a better look darn it is gen! Too bad, you prob made alot of ppl get there hopes up high! haha. Just went over some old-threads where there was like endless debates over questionable pics "IS IT A GEN or not" at times the reps gets so good (or pictures so unclear) even the experts have heard time spotting....

Can't wait to see the REP GMT2 comin out! But like ELPRIMEROZEN mentioned it is the Case that is the biggest issue. They need to make a whole new case first, a prototype. My theory behind it is that the first factory that will make it, will need to invest alot alot of money, prob first of getting a original or something (whtever they do when they copy stuff) then they need to make a prototype mold etc, then the straps which is already available (not sure if it fits tho) etc. So when they finally put in the huge investment etc, and start selling them. Then another factory will make a copy of the copy, without having to spend all the initial cost/investment. I not sure if this is true or not, but that's what I like to think, coz I think nobody wants to be the first to invest and go thru the whole process just to get copied by fellow chinese. The IRONNY

Love the TimeWalker series, think it looks better on a leather strap tho! I got a sort of fantasy one, BROWN LEATHER STRAP, STEEL CASE, WHITE DAIL with ROSE GOLD markers. THe ROSE GOLD looks good with the brown leather strap, and I love it that way eventho they technically prob don't make it originally like that. Just missing the AR coting I think, which is gonna be done by Chieftang soon

Not into the colorful stuff (also when buying watches), like green, orange, pink (alltho I ordered my first Pink Gold watch -a Tourby from Homer). Any great black watch suggestions guys to add to my collection? The top-gun looks pretty sleek, tho.

Because paypal is so populair you're like limited if you don't use or have it, and then there ppl who abuse the system and pp don't do crap! Google came up with GoogleCheckout tho, you guys should check it out. Stop using paypal all-to-gether, Googlecheckout seems to favor the Seller side as well as the buyer. Hi, I can remember that the only solution toward the Daytona at @ 6 issue is to stop the running seconds and remove the extra gears on an A7750 -28800. How to do this?!? Did The Zigmeister give a review. I knew that The Zigmeister does repairs, I downloaded a long long time ago a price-chart but lost it. I would be very interested in his services. Can somebody let me know how to go about it? Tks in advance. Chris

sorry i sold the last two i had but i will get some new ones tomorrow so i will take some shot of the crown guards.

fixed the crystal already was actually very easy job, my watchmaker at first didnt wanted to do it cuz he was scared that the crystal might brake, so i said it wouldnt be a problem i can order new crystals. so he did it for me and no problem at all.

I bought a Submariner LV, it is perfect (in my opinion) except for the crystal it is crooked. It needs to be turned alittle, do you have any suggestions how to place it correctly so that the date mag will be in place, and the crown. My watchmaker said he could take it out but he didnt have a idea if he could get the mag straight over the date. Help is always appriated...thanks btw for helping answer the question abt the valjoux daytona thing. I read your post abt new asian with running sec at 6, and that it might be unreliable. I dont know how to freeze it and i dont think my watchmaker does either so i'll leave it as it is. And i will tell you how long i it will last in orginale state. You dont know by any chance out of experience how long the new valjoux lasted with running sec at 6, right? It still works fine but the seconds at 6 is what i feel (maybe it is perfectly fine) runs a little jerky, not so smooth in my opionon. But the new asian is then better in a way than the ETA one, if you have running seconds at 6, cuz i recall out of your post that a ETA needs 11 extra gears and a New Asian only 5 extra gears. So if ETA and New Asian are at par, then it would be better to go for the Asian, besides it being cheaper. is this correct? So sorry in total 3 questions. 1. How to place crystal back with a already mag and crown. 2. Do you know out of experince how long a new asian will last with running sec at 6 3. Which is better ETA or NEW ASIAN 7750 in case of running sec at 6? Thanks for all the time you put in it to answer these questions.

guys i have been shipping quite a bit of watches, i think it depends on the destination however where you send it. I send mine to EU, netherland to be precise. EMS is no problem got caught incidently once but nothing was flagged send a new one a few days later. I tried UPS but the losers are very very expensive and to top it of i have to pay 26 euro for tax on a "50 euro return for reuse" watch. THe watch was way rerouted for nothing, it was twice in the netherlands before being shipped to the address. It came from Asia to Amsterdam, NL, in 1 day then for no pectulair reason it went to DUBAI, mid-east, back to GERMANY then back to AMSTERDAM.....where the logic in that?!?! EMS never had to pay tax, even once put 100 euro declared value on. Track and trace just sucks from EMS and it takes longer.

impressive, i purchased some 14k gold two-tone submariners before you wrote this post and my supplier said it was solid & it look solid 14k(the midlinks when i took a closer inspection). The bezel is also solid, i think & the crown. That is what she told me and she usually knows what she sells. I wasnt quite certain untill you posted this awesome post. Thanks
