  1. I decided to play around with my new toy, here it is on a Zulu two piece in gray: What do you guys think? Ever since seeing the LV I've been thinking about this combo...now that I've got it, I'm so in love with the bracelet that I can't make up my mind! Input please!!!
  2. For the third day in a row: Kelster: If you can find a Panasonic Lumix FZ8 available, it's being fazed out right now...excellent prices and a wonderful lens (Leica)...get it, I am! PM me about a good (excellent for you EU guys) deal if you're interested!
  3. I'm wearing the one in the middle This one
  4. I went to the post office wearing this: And left the post office wearing this!!! While I wait for my noobmariner LV from TTK, I decided to buy an inferior (wokmariner) rep for $50 from one of the other boards...I like it, it's my first Rolex, and definitely not my last!
  5. Victoria...that Daytona shot looks PERFECT...fit for print!!! The Explorer I on Nato...that's my next watch! I've got a different idea about strap choice (my Bond Zulu will go on my Explorer II that's in the mail)...for me, the Explorer I is the only Rolex that looks great with leather, truly a CLASSY piece!!!
  6. Victoria: Just to make it clear to everyone, Micah made the strap within a month (waiting for a buckle to come in stock) and mailed it out right away with a sexy preview shot... The wait for me is because of the damned military mail system used to get U.S. based mail over here to Germany. It works flawlessly on it's way to the U.S. but SLOOWWWLY getting the mail to Germany sometimes... I love the Guarantee though, that's great!!!
  7. It's Fiddy Friday for me...still no mail from Micah I guess since it's a wrist check it should have a wrist shot
  8. Victoria: and I was going to say something stupid like Milgauss or Daytona ...your name choice, like your taste in straps, is exquisite!
  9. First of all, thank you for the compliment! I'm really having fun learning how to take good photos of these watches I love so much! Thanks to Pugwash and TTK for giving us the lessons in photography, they really help! Secondly, if you check my wrist shots carefully you must have an idea about what my job is...at least I don't have to decide what to wear in the morning! What I do in that attire is definitely not the norm for camouflage...check the avatar
  10. I never wear this one to work, because it doesn't go great with my typical "business attire" but today I decided to anyway!
  11. Here's mine for today...same as yesterday, but without the impact wrench!
  12. I wore my "beater" to the garage today, replaced the front rotors and brake pads, changed the oil, and rotated the tires.. I didn't actually wear the watch while working, this was staged...I baby my watches!
  13. That's okay Laz...since the GTG I can't get Rolex out of my mind, so the feeling is mutual!
  14. I'm wearing this one again...off to the gym now, sorry for the old pic, couldn't get a good shot today
  15. After seeing Victoria's awesome shots, I new what I wanted to wear today, so I tried sporting my Breitling to the post office...hoping that by not wearing the fiddy, the Micah Brindle strap would be there...no such luck It's okay though, the Breitling is beautiful: My last shot is an homage to Freddy and his great shot of the Marshall amp!
  16. Listened to this one today, Gov't Mule, self titled. It's been a while, what an awesome guitar album!!! Hook Herrera plays the hell out of the harmonica on a few tracks too!
  17. I wore this one (again!) until I went to the post office...hoping (again) for the strap from Micah: No luck at the post office, so after the gym I switched to this for tonight (going to a birthday dinner, MP gives it some class!):
  18. The pro dial (dots instead of numbers) should have the orange seconds hand, however the numeric dial should have a white seconds hand...small difference between the two, but in my opinion, it makes the watch pop to have the seconds hand orange and the correct HE valve with the orange outside circle...I am REALLY hoping they make this watch again with fewer glaring flaws...I would have bought it already otherwise!
  19. Wow, thanks everyone! I really love the beauty of the 127...it captures the true essence of what Panerai is to me. I guess I'm trying to capture the beauty of my watches in a snapshot, not always successfully! Someone sent me a PM about my camera setup...I used a six year old Olympus Stylus 410. It's a little over 3 megapixels, no super high resolution SLR here...just a click of the shutter at the right time in the right place! I'm passionate about my watches, like most of us here, and it shows in this photo I think. I probably take about 45 shots for every wristie that makes it to the daily wrist shot, but that's because I'm still learning! I've learned everything I know about proper watch photography from this board so thank you RWG (Pugwash and TTK especially)!!!
  20. Here is a Photoshop version of a wristshot I took today...I hope you like it! My disclaimer is that I don't use Photoshop regularly and if there is anything wrong with it...please let me know! I'd love some pointers from the pros!
  21. Okay, I'm boring...still wearing the 127, but at least the photos are new! She worked the lens hard today... And one more...you don't get much of the watch, but it's a sexy photo!
  22. I'm back to my fiddy today...still no Micah Brindle
  23. Wow V, these are great straps...that color is perfect with a 127 in my opinion...Great choice, beautiful work!
  24. I'll take Monday Victoria...hell of a strap combo with that 113! Do you like your popcorn buttered and salted or au naturale? Perhaps sweet as they offer it here in Germany?
