Are these for Asian movements or for the Swiss movements?

Most of the non-chrono watches are currently available with ETA movements which are generally regarded as being more reliable. I have one in my SFSO, and an Asian 7750 in my Montblanc. One thing about the 3-6-9 (tri-compax) configuration you will find is that the datewheel is sunken further below the dial of the watch, which can be a bit annoying (as on my Montblanc) and a definite tell for a rep. If you went for the 6-9-12 Navitimer, it will be less obvious.

predfan, did you get a strap in the end? I have a GMT Seamaster on the way and am looking for a strap for it.

I'm interested in getting a Navitimer DW. Also wondering which DW is suitable for use with the Tag Carrera / Link chronos?

I just got my black-dial Timewalker Chrono. Immediately took the bracelet off and put on my Breitling crocodile deployment strap. Stunning. I'm going to get this AR coated, and buy a plain clasp for it as well.

Did a quick Google search, and saw it come up on a couple PAM homages on eBay. I then did a quick search on sapphire, mineral glass and acrylic glass... and acrylic glass has the molecular formula of (C5O2H8)n... my chemistry is VERY rusty, but I think the n indicates a polymer strand, so my guess is that carbo-hydrogen polymer is an unnnecessarily fancypants name that indicates acrylic glass.

The BOB deployment is adverised as a 22/18, and that is exactly what mine is.

I never liked the SFSO on the bracelet. A nice strap does it for me.

Yeah, surprised at the choice of Carrera Twin-Time. Certainly wouldn't be my choice of "if I only had one" watch.

Nice to see Kimi with a Carrera. I don't really like the Tag F1 watches.

I also have one on the way from TTK in the recent group buy. The only problem is I doubt I will ever wear it, I can't pull of a Rollie.

I personally think it's the best-looking Rollie, bar possibly the Daytona.
