actually, the gen has a bluish tint exactly the same as the rep! as for the dial font, i may practice changing the color of the font on the rep dial and maybe offer that in the future with my mod packages.

when side by side they almost look identicle! on the watch is another story! palp's looks identicle to my gen!

i forgot to mention... the AR coat on the rep is identicle to the gen and also....just try to pry this thing off my wrist! just try!!!!!

i just want to say thanks to everyone here who sent their watches to me for mods this year as i was able to raise enough funds to get my dream watch without my wife seeing the bank drained 4k! (i always take paypal so my wife can't see ) i figure i owe it to the forum to post side by side pics with my fully modded (now sold) 111H vs my new 111i gen. i'm surprised how close it is! the gen is a bit heavier and the quality is just perfection.. the crowngaurd is different as you all know but the palp crown is exact. the lume is the same as my modded watch and the movement is better finished up close. even the lug screws and screwdriver it came with are very impressive! i guess that's why they cost 10x more... to me, it's worth every penny. but then again, i'm one picky bastard!!! enjoy the pics gen is on the left of all the pics. in this pic, the lume color looks darker but it's shadowing. the color is near an exact match in person better finish on the CTG, bearing cutout in the center of the gen, and smaller officine panerai font. faster beat as well. smaller gear teeth like the asian unitas has because the gen is based on the 6497-2 and the swiss swanneck rep is based on the 6497-1 Gen lume left, Flavor Flav tritec superlume on the right.... the same really. i like to take lighted lume shots so you can see how bright it really is! beefier CG on the gen. pam -666... i like that! the real pam 666 i have in the works for another member with the rolex movement marked with 666 from rolex!!

i've relumed five ultimate POs and the old lume comes off with putty! or my dust blower sometimes blows it off...great quality throughout the watch untill you get to the lume!

here's the movement. i found another number on it....one that is too scary to talk about here..... so see the pics. you will know what i'm talking about!

still plenty of room for the balance! there was an edge around the baseplate to hold the movement in the front of the case. that's basically what i removed.

the case is a 6152-1 from davidsen. plexi both sides! very cool.

and what 111 is 6000??? my 111i was 3950!! must be a special edition prototype or something. i've never seen this movement. maybe it's an "in house" movement and that makes it more valuable.

he could have fooled a few more people without the movement shot and that horrible rubber strap! WTF is that thing??. my eyes are burning!!! what crap....

i can't believe the # of PMs i'm getting to buy this watch! i did say i MIGHT sell it....... if someone would make a good offer maybe but it's really good my gen will arrive thursday so i'll do a comparison to the gen

thanks! i can't wait for my first gen pam to get here!! took alot of relumes, cannon mods, and custom work to buy it but it's worth the work!

i just finished this one with my custom color tritec superlume, high cannon pin and hour wheel, davidsen hands, full service, and a palp crown. since this is my favorite pam i just bought a gen 111i that i'll have in a few days! so i MAY sell this one. besides the placement of the l swiss l.....what else can be modded?

the edges had to be shaven down almost 2mm to fit the case which means it was a bit bigger... i'll dissassemble and get a shot at the front of the movement. the biggest issue is the cannon pin is very short as is the hour wheel. also the diameter of the cannon and hour wheel is much smaller than the unitas so mods had to be done to get hands to fit. a longer cannon would be a dream! i'm waiting for rep fiddy hands as they have long tubes and i can get the clearance over the seconds hand but a tall cannon would be ideal here..
