thanks for the comments! i like the way the hands seem to be floating in the pvd. looks like they are not attached to anything. cool effect. i've not heard back from the owner as to if he likes it or not. so we'll see if the sandwich dial goes back in or we leave it like this. i think it's the bomb!

thanks mike! i was having trouble getting a thick sandwich dial to work right with the seconds hand so i started troubleshooting with a thinner blank dial. when i installed the hands on the blank dial i really liked the look! by accident the radiomir is pure beauty in my eyes! this dial was sent for the pvd and it was a radiomir dial by mistake and obviously was too big to fit the pvd so i got to thinking and stripped my 183

the white glows more teal color than the c3. actually matches the hands perfect.

where besides the AD can i get a 22mm rubber strap?

looks like ofrei sells 2 straps for the PO. 20mm and 21mm. now, i measured the width of my steel gen bracelet and it's 21.916mm. i wonder if the rubber should be 21mm? will this work? it's 169+20 for the buckle. not too bad really. i'll get it if it will fit. does anyone know if the gen rubber strap should be 22mm on the 45.5mm PO or 21mm?????

got it on timezone used for 1100 with bracelet and strap i think retail is around 2000. SMP 300m chronometer.

right they should label them ETA not "swis ETA" because they are not build in switzerland but made by a swiss company. and asian should keep it's name. "asian or ETA" not "asian or swiss"

what fitmic is saying is pretty much how i feel......it's horrible. and.....it sucks the way to go for a PO is the ultimate 45.5 josh and andrew sell. there is no good 42mm. 4th gen is a nice "watch" but a sloppy rep compared to the ultimate 45.5 which passes for gen IMHO.

you shouldn't need a press to get most out.....in is another story! i've changed over 10 crystals with my palm and a hard table. that said....i am getting a press anyways looks like we have a total of 12 so far. 28 more to go

seems it should fit most. i tried one on with my 7.5" inch wrist and had four holes to go.

i forgot....my 2x VC overseas. gens have AR. put me down for 4 for sure. i may do more after i see these.

i will at LEAST send by bentley crystal. maybe my gen SMP and SMP GMT crystals as they came factory no AR coatings. maybe more i'll let you know how many later on. thanks for doing all the legwork! i'll take the double coats on all of them!

davidsen's casebacks seem kind of thin. i'm not sure if they are more or less accurate? the finish on the normal dealer's rep casebacks is better i think while davidsen's cases and crystals and CG are better IMHO. i have swapped rep casebacks onto davidsens case! opposite of what you are doing
