why did you get 3x 253s? curious. i agree sometimes the 253's dial is too much and the more simple 212 works better.

neil, i agree the AP is a much better watch. after AP, what is really better? but as far as design goes, i love the big bang! one of my favorite watches. i have not bought the rep yet and ive been considering the gen rose gold with black ceramic bezel. the AP while no question is of better build quality and the movement needs not words to describe it, but personally, i think it's boring and kind of ugly. i feel hublot took a great watch design idea and made it look good. to each his own. the BB seems to make you angry! LOL!

otto frei has many screw assortments. they are not at all helpful there....agreed, but check the website for the correct assortment.

please understand that a paypal dispute can cost angus thousands of dollars....not a good thing to happen to anyone. i wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy! please don't do it. keep trying to contact him. i'm sure he will make it right. if not.....here we go again! in all fairness if the watchmaker has only had it two days....give him the benefit of the doubt.

next day air is a croc. everytime i ask for it they have an excuse and advise priority mail. they usually cannot gaurentee next day delivery!

ugly shmuggly....i can't believe you don't have one pug! it photographs really well! i wouldn't say ugly...i would say unique for sure more interesting than the usual subs and such.

i really love the double AR coating. it adds another dimension to the watch! i have no trouble with my PO. a breath and quick t-shirt wipe is all it takes. i keep my watches unusually clean anyway so really no big deal. why not make it double sided and those of us who want an accurate rep can have one and everyone else can get out the nail polish remover and take it off if so they wish.

WTF is that symbol? none of my omegas have it and i've never seen it before. looks terrible.

i went to the AD this past weekend wearing my gen 45.5mm and swapped for this 007 to try it on. i swear the case is thinner as well. i may be imagining it but it feels lightweight and very thin. weird. i like it alot but gravitated straight to the panerai display! i cannot help it! LOL!

i think it looks great if it's your first mod, consider it a success! i can't tell you how many watches i messed up learning how to perfect the mods. removing and installing a 7750 can be tough with the keyless works. good job

i can't decide! they are two of my favorite omegas! that's why i have both gens. the SMP is best with the rubber strap i think i have the bracelet as well but wear it on the strap and the PO is a big chunky slab of steel on your wrist and feels way heavy! love both. especially the AR on the O! if the SM had the same AR as the PO......i'd probably like it better the SMP has little or no visible AR coatings.

all my friends are gone! when the update trook place it wiped out my friends list or maybe it's just MY friends are gone

right now i'm wishing you are correct sir they appear to be all sold out at the moment.........hopefully they will come back in with a cheaper price and better QC. i spoke with josh and he seems to be hand picking them and sending the ones with issues back to the factory. sounds like there is quite a few. i am anxious to get this one but i'm tired of overpaying to get the first batch.....heck, i paid eddie 329 for the first ingy! then i sold it for i think $220

i've had this screensaver for awhile! the gmt one here is better but i can't get it to work as a desktop item on my mac.

do we have reps with a movement that costs over $100 to replace? mostly no. why not just wear it most swiss will last 5-6 years running perfect maybe longer. i had a 1978 omega never serviced running strong and accurate after 28 years! my point is when they fail....if they fail we can replace the movement for not so much money. except 7750 or 2892-93 of course. what's the point?
