  1. same quality. seconds @ 6 maybe not as reliable as the plain ingy but it's not plain
  2. just try to pry this thing off my wrist! just try............
  3. where did you find this
  4. ok be nice. this guy seems fun it's not the worst movement on the planet. actually it's solid and reliable. i'm pretty sure you will be the coolest guy on the planet if you buy this watch. really. andrew and joshua are more reliable dealers and will help out if you have a problem. paul is not as bad as most of the replica scammers there are out there. but i think you are better off spending more with the most trusted dealers here because you are a "pupil"
  5. randy, i'm not a fan of the filtered pics. probably because i enjoy your trademarked granite pics so much. ubi pics without granite are like FF/913 pics without wood
  6. if you are not very careful removing the hands, they can easily be damaged. reusing the hands is fine unless they get damaged pulling off. this is why i am extremely careful and pull the whole stack at once to prevent scratches.
  7. how do you get your girl to take these pics????
  8. this watch was shipped to me by a very lucky forum member here to install a genuine hand set. i thought i'd share some pics of what's involved with this mod. this watch has been relumed and serviced by The Zigmeister. flat out the best relume i've ever seen. rob, i have no idea how it's even possible to recreate the numerals as perfect as you do! has a palp crown installed that looks amazing! finally the gen hands set i was called on to install. i'll let the pics do most the talking here. the genuine hands are much nicer finished than the rep hands but pretty expensive. first the case back is removed then the movement clamps, crown gaurd, and crown is pulled. *******important tip...very important! to remove the stem, always use a screwdriver that will EXACTLY fit the stem release slot and ALWAYS pull the stem to the time setting position when removing. this will ensure you don't jam the keyless works which then requires you remove the dial, datewheel and keyless cover and have to reset everything which is a tedious job no one likes to do******** here you can see this movement is worth the extra $$$ same spec as genuine. ETA 2893 ****important tip. after pulling the movement. place in a movement holder and reinstall the crown. next set all hands to 12:00 and pull the crown to time setting position to "hack" the seconds hand at 12:00. this will ensure the date will turn over at the correct time ***** to remove the hands without damaging the dial, place watch paper covering everything but the hand stack. attach the hand puller and pull the stack. i pull all at once to prevent damage to the lower hands. now here we have a butt naked sexy woman named pam here is the hands sets. rep on the left and genuine panerai on the right. ******important tip! NEVER TOUCH THE HANDS!!! i always use special care even though it takes 5 times longer to install them, to never touch the hands! finger prints and scratches will occur from barely touching highly polished metals used on hands. i always press on with a bergeon hand pusher with nylon tips and set the hands using a wooden stick wrapped in rodico putty***** installing first the GMT hand next the hour hand setting the minute hand with the wooden stick wrapped in rodico putty after installing each hand, check the allignment they sould be even with the dial and each hand. here is a lume shot so everyone can see what The Zigmeister can do the man is amazing. lume matches gen hands lume color and brightness perfect. a few more shots to show off the 2893 before i reassemble it. always place watch paper in your hand before you install the movement in the case. remember don't touch anything with your bare hands. use high quality tweezers, screwdrivers, putty, and real watch paper to insure there is no smudging or damage. *****important tip. always use a blower to remove all particles and dust. you wouldn't want to be staring at dust inside the crystal or on the dial****** reinstall the stem the same way you took it out VERY CAREFULL HERE! tighten all the clamps, grease the o-rings, use care on the crown gaurd screws not to strip and never use loctite as thew threads here often strip. here's the results! i threw it on my genuine gator strap for pics. check out the awesome palp crown!
  9. the SMP in my signiture is gen. i've done alot of relume jobs but never with tritec. where do i get it?
  10. where can i get tritec? i've been using this for a long time.
  11. nothing can touch the lume on genuine omegas! it's supposedly superluminova but it's much brighter than the superlume from ofrei i use. these things light up like a torch! pics just cannot capture how bright they glow. and any sign of light fires them up too! burns all night long.
  12. no, but they do have a bezel that turns so freely the that the weight of the pearl makes it act like a movement rotor! keep your gen. it's gorgeous.
  13. that video is messed up man! never seen anything like it! almost like a quartz with a dying battery on crack! get an ETA and drop it in. the asian movement is crap.
  14. this watch is really cheap! everyone should have one in thier collection. i picked it up used i think around $65 + $135 for the strap.
  15. genuine 16610......not worth the $$$$ it's not much better than the reps except the fact i sold it for a small profit so as for resale it gets high marks here but genuine omegas are much nicer. sold it. as for reps....VC 1755 jubilee. looks amazing! i mean really really good! especially for the money. rose gold coler is awesome and all functions work even power reserve...but the display back displays a cheap POS asian movement and a plastic spacer! so i never wore it. it looks so good i can't bring myself to sell it i even have a sirtoli strap on it that cost more than the watch but that display back.......
  16. here is a tool i use that makes life easier...bergeon hand pusher. plus a small dab of cleaning putty on a wooden stick works better than the tape method for placing the hands and much safer than tweezers which scratch up the hands.
  17. omega aquaterra.......i was shocked this one is so good! feels, runs like gen quality! i fool myself all the time with it
  18. if that had the SS bracelet i would actually like it! i don't think it's gay at all.
  19. funny! i kind of like it on the orange strap but something inside me tells me "that's kind of gay"
  20. i want to pull the bezel on my smp chrono but it's been stated that it's extremely difficult. so how is it done? it's very flimsy feeling and turns too freely not to mention the insert needs realligned.
  21. @azgjav....HOLY [censored]!!!! those pams are amazing! why that non-AR crystals and where did you find a tapered bracelet?
  22. holy crap! in 18 months with my rotation.......my watches will be worn 20 times at most. every time i take them off i polish or brush out any signs of wear! this would make me crazy! that's how an old omega i refinished for a friend looked from 5 feet away! but it came out like new. here's how....a few tricks. take a soft wire wheel to the whole bracelet, polish to a mirror shine the smooth sections, then re brush the rest with the bergeon glass scratch pen. it will be new again! oh almost forgot.....when it's all done, dunk it in some thick dish soap then run under hot water and scrub it with an old toothbrush to get it shiny and clean. some of the dish soap will stay in the links and smooth out the feel/take away squeeks. works great the hands are discolored most likely from a tiny bit of water entering the case and steaming up inside. throw on some genuine hands and new greased orings and she'll be all set.
  23. dam! very impressive editing! looks like a magazine cover shot........awesome watch by the way.
