Quality is great in both the Jackson and TAT cases, especially for the price. Way better than the crappy Davidsen cases that won't accept improved Crown Guards. My Jackson Case (which is the same as the TAT case) was fitted with a T crown and Sead Bo's new H series CG. After nipping the lever tip with my dremel it fit the case perfectly. No gaps where the feet meet the case as with the Davidsen cases. The only modding I did to my case was sanding down the tube a hair because it stuck out a bit too far for my tastes. Yes there are even better cases, FU, LH, the cases special German build cases(I think they are German) that Rex, Ygg and The Zigmeister have access to, but make no mistake regardless of the price these make for a great project case set. Better than Davidsen because things fit better. The stock CG is also better than Davidsen and would make a very good G series CG. If you think there is some special actual factory in Canton where higher end rep stuff is made then I have a health care plan to sell you.

Not sure if 3.8 K for a OOO is that great of a deal. I know it is new but for that price I would prefer a 112. Just my 2 cents

Just got my really sweet Ultimate 220 from Josh. To celeebrate this the Empire State Building is lighting up Commie Red and Yellow for the world to see!!! Yesterday I recieved my gorgeous Sead-Bo Hand friggen polished CG. First I did my patented gorilla glue lever mod (this time adding a thin piece of metal foil in the lever hole as a brushing as the glue was tacky. The results are phenom. Open and closes just like a Gen! Next I married the Sead-Bo CG to the Ultimate and guess what? Perfect friggen fit!!! Lever sits perfectly against the Ultimate crown dish, CG body perfectly flush against the Ultimate case. Awesome!!! So what's next? Well this sucker, like all my Pam's, is getting a Swiss transplant. Ordered an Eta Valjoux 7750 which is in Transit for Dr. Rex to operate And of course, though the lume is actually pretty good? Enormous improvemnt over the stock lume my previous Ultimate 088 had. I am going to get a full lume spa treatment (unless I find a reasonably priced gen dial) Until then enjoy and if you are a RepGeek too go order a Sead-Bo CG!!!

Otto Frei here in the states. Cousins for the Euros -
Beauty Lani I have an Ultimate 220 coming (hopefully by the beginning of next week Josh!) and I have a T crown and new polished Sead OEM style crownguard in transit as well. If I really take to it I think I may drop in a Valjoux 7750 but I am concerned about the lume as a lume nit picker I hope it's good enough that I don't need to send it out right away to be superlumed.

My FGD dial fit fine on a swiss movement

Great piece I had the exact same watch, sad to have parted with it.

Great cases. PVD is a bit too dark and shiney but the polished steel is very very nice. Their service is superb and they take paypal too. about 8-10 days from order to door. Cases are about as good as Davidsen at 1/3 the price. Crownguards are actually pretty decent as well. Only modding i had too do was to grind down the long tube a touch so the T crown sat nearer to the case. I have been told their hands are very nice as well

The Get at watch case worked pretty damn good for me Kyle. Got tired of the know it alls nitpicking over at the Geek. But I posted a bunch of pics there of my FD 202a. I was told by the self professed experts that the FGD dial wouldn't fit - it fit just fine I was told EL, Davidson and other better casebacks wouldn't fit - they also fit perfectly Finally i was told that only movements that Getatwatch, Helen, and or jackson Tse sell would fit the case - Wrong again as a nice hand picked Genuine Swiss Eta- Unitas form Otto Frei lives in the case under the FGD dial that I was told wouldn't fit under the caseback that wasn't supposed to fit Was told the PVD was supposed to be terrible, PVD is exactly the same as Davidsen I love Davidsen but people seem to have avery short memory with some of his issues as well. Remember the notched cases, Crowns that wouldn;t line up properly, CG screw holes that only took David's CG's. All our suppliers have had issues. No one other than Tourby, V and Simon get gold stars across the board for their parts as far as I'm concerned. Pretty happy with the results and i sold an extra today that I had purchased which also looked damn good Not claiming it is perfect by any stretch of the imagination. I am not brave enough to try drilling the lugs to fit Pre_v bars. Not on a PVD case anyway. My point is that these are very nice cases with about the same quality as a Davidsen (prob made in the same factory in Kowloon) at a fraction of the price. David wanted over $200 for a PVD caseset. I spent $65 on mine with shipping, was able to use paypal and they even followed up asking if everything was OK after I recieved the order, and they answered every question in a very timely manner. Not Fu or LH but as good as anything else we can directly buy from a supplier (unless you can get Ultimate cases directly from the Cartel which most of us can't) Fact is these cases work, are under 1/3 the price and you get great customer service. And as an added benefit the CG's are better than Davidsen's. The only Mod they need is taking down the case tube a bit which took me 2 minutes with a dremel. What do you all think? Keep in mind Tourbey is sending me a PVD T crown and I have a LH CG reserved that will need Avitt's love Pretty damn nice for $65.00

Just teezing Big T! If these cases don't work I may be done with Reps. FGD builds are my only surviving rep interest anyway. Got a reply from David and he wants $200.00 for a caseset . I can almost buy Fu at that pricepoint, tired of ending up tying a grand into builds after all the trial and error of trying to marry this case with this crwon guard, or this crown with this casetube, or this caseback with this diameter case opening. It's getting ridiculous and it seems to me that there at least used to be a bit of standardization in the sizes of cases and parts. That's it. If these fail I am DONE. I'll sell what I have and buy a 112
