Beards
Guys, My first post here so if I've made a mistake in asking this here I apologize in advance. Also, if this question has been asked before (I did do a search first), again I apologize in advance. I've looked over the Forum but not sure where to ask this question..... Basically, I live in the UK and have been looking through various Search Engines for a 'reliable' seller of very good quality Breitling Navitimer replica's. I've been to PoshWatch & TopSwiss. Both have emailed me (PoshWatch took two days & TopSwiss have been excellent in many replies). TopSwiss have offered me one of their 'Grade 1 / AAAA' watches (means absolutely nothing as there is no official guideline outside of TopSwiss what a Grade 1 / AAAA actually is.. in other words it's self-hype). I also doubt their integrity when they say the watch will be 99.9% accurate. So.... Is it okay for me to ask; those in the UK ~ who have you gone to for your purchase or who would you recommend? Overseas worries me ~ what with Customs and not being able to talk direct on the phone to ask questions. Thanks in advance. Mike
KB
Ok Mike first up stay away from those off site sellers, especially ones who advertise AAA and other crap like that. We have a few sellers that sell from within the UK on this board Narikka, Precious Time and Eurotimez but you would do yourself no favours by simply rushing off to one of them and buying. Spend some time to read through our forum and get to know the quality of the watches available as well as the range, you decide in the end on a completely different watch but more so you may find that you want to become a part of our rep watch community. Beards
Many thanks Ken in coming back so soon. I am very glad I found this forum before making my purchase...... there was some nagging feeling in the back of my head to 'check out those sellers'. I'm pretty sure it's a Navitimer I'm looking for and believe I have found the right combination of colour (UK spelling sorry) and strap. I do hear loud and clear what you say though..... Although I am very keen to make a purchase I shall though take time in having a good read in the forum first. It looks like you have a very active group here Ken.... I look forward to an active participation. Thanks again. Mike
b16a2
Welcome to the board Mike, and my thoughts reflect those of KB. I am in the UK and use Precioustime at the moment. His response time is fast, service is excellent, and being in the UK you have no customs worries, and should the unlikely event of needing to return the watch occur, it's easy to do. greg_r
Actually, in the UK you don't have to worry about customs at all - never a problem unless you're planning to bring 'em in by the boatload . Stick with the recommended dealers here and on the other forums and you shouldn't go far wrong.
Beards
Thanks Guys for the info... I have had a look over at the sellers here on the board but there does not seem to be much on offer for what I am seeking. I remember several years back I could pick and choose and got a cracking good Rolex complete with box and documents. This served me well for when I eventually decided on an original. I intend to do this again with my plan being to source a replica with as high a quality as possible and am happy to pay a high premium to achieve this. This would then be used as a 'testbed' to see if it warrants splashing out on the real thing. Obviously I would keep and use the replica, wearing it on occasions when either there would be a high chance of damage or theft. Mike

I did think of contacting one. I'll first try the one you previously recommended, Precious Time.... but I also hear what Ken says about waiting.. Which is very difficult considering I'd like to get this sorted ASAP. Mike

yaron
Precious time is the best choice in the UK if you are after a high quallity rep, but you need to be patient because it could take some time. The best would be to contact him and tell what you want.
Guru1
no question about it, i got now over 50 watches from Precious Time , all are high end stuff....don't worry, PT willtake care of you
Beards
Thanks Guys... I've emailed PT and the reply says they will get back to me Monday. Mike
Seamaster_GMT
Leave topswiss.co.uk alone. The watches are NOT sent from the UK, they are sent from the Philippines, my Wife bought me a watch from them for Christmas - sent from the the Philippines, no QC and got stung with VAT, Import Duty and Parcel force 'handling fee'. Guess what? topswiss didn't want to know. Some people might buy 50 watches and get all of them through Customs without a hitch, some don't - it's a lottery. PT is great, be fair to him and he'll be fair to you.
Andy1969
Agreed I bought from Topswiss. Communication was pretty good but watch quality is poor for the price they charge Also as previously said the watches are NOT sent from UK, they are sent from the Phillippines or China My experience with Precious Time was very good. Quality watch, good prices and excellent comms. Definitely recommend ! Andy
Beards
Many thanks guys.. I've canned dealing with TopSwiss. I'll sit back now and wait for PT to contact me. Mike
Beards
Many thanks guys.. I've canned dealing with TopSwiss. I'll sit back now and wait for PT to contact me. Mike Well, I didn't hear back from PT so I contacted Perfect Clones and received a reply that night..... only for PT to mail me the following morning (he'd been away for a few days). PT is more local for me but have to say, the general info and amount of Breitling watches over at PC do seem better. Price-wise there's not much in it. The two Boxes on PC look good too. capice
If you don't want customstrouble, I highly recommend PT or Narikaa, just mail/pm them the model you're looking for. In most cases they can supply, at no risk at all

Unfortunately the only place I see it for immediate post is overseas with Perfect Clones. To be fair Joshua told me he is sending 5 to 10 packages to the UK every day for the last 5 years.. He said there hasn't been any problems at all. Also never heard of his clients complaining about taxes either.. Decisions..decisions.. Wayward
Hi Mike...sorry to dig up an old thread but was wondering did you order from Josh? If you did I'm sure you have received it by now...any review/pics?
Beards
Hi Mike...sorry to dig up an old thread but was wondering did you order from Josh? If you did I'm sure you have received it by now...any review/pics? No problem and sorry i have not come back sooner. I made contact with Joshua and was set to order the Navitimer World that day..... right up til I received a reply to my last email request to him. At that point the reply made me think again in trading with him. I can't go into the content of the message here as it would not be fair to Josh to discuss this in an open forum. It does look a terrific watch and I hope one day to be able to contact him again. Unfortunately, at present my feelings prevent me from doing this. Please note ~ this is an individual case. I am sure anyone else who deals with Josh will find the dealing and ordering to be without problem. I do wish him well and publicly state I am not out to blacken his name nor any part of his business. It's merely a break down in communication that I can not accept.
