Mercury
I know these watches are quite large compared to other brands but is there a Bretling that wears small and would look good a smaller wrist? Thank You
By-Tor
is there a Bretling that wears small and would look good a smaller wrist? No. Or maybe Navitimer with a strap?
kramerica2
Funny, I asked a similar question a couple of months ago. I have a 6.5-7 inch wrist, and didn't like big watches at all. Since then, I've changed my mind a bit, and got the SOSF. It's a bit thick, but stunning, and overall blends well.
andreww
The navitimer isn't overly huge at 42mm. The SOSF doesn't wear that big either. What size is your wrist? Mine is about 6.75" and I can wear anything short of a Super Avenger or large Bentley.

I could possibly even wear a Bentley, but I'd rather not.
specialvat
Maybe a colt ? That would wear small
Pugwash
Maybe a colt ? That would wear small Probably, but the point of Breitlings is not to wear small. I'd say get an over-sized one and wear it big. Nut up, as they say.
maxman
I think you should try the Super Avenger. Then anything else you wear will seem small. I have a 7 1/2 in wrist and thought that anything over 42mm was to big. The biggest watch I had when I got here was a 42mm. Now I feel anything under 45mm Is small. I just happen to like the look and feel of a big watch; although I dont have big wrists. Like the others have said, give the Nav a try, good luck Mike
specialvat
My tiny 6" wrists manage to support my evo, only just although it is a poor angle pic

Probably, but the point of Breitlings is not to wear small. I'd say get an over-sized one and wear it big. Nut up, as they say. Well said. I guess I will be waiting for one to go on sale from a member. Edited September 7, 2009 by Mercury

cougaree
My Colt Automatic wears small. Seems like the only comes with blue dial. It's an older Breitling (1990 vintage), but it's pretty nice. FYI, I am selling mine right now on the bay

kingkitesurf
The genuine Topgun is quite small and there are smaller montbrilliants 40. I actually had one on my wrist the weekend and thought is was to small.
Mercury
Well I tried on a Chronomat Evo and SOSF and it's large but it works. Now I have to decide between a Tag Heuer Link and the Breitlings. Thanks for the help on the size issue everybody.
fakemaster
Lots of people with small wrists wear SOSFs. Now a Super Avenger....

jimmynugent
check out the bentley gt their 44mm but the lugs slant downwards wears almost like a 42mm watch
Bike Mike
My $0.02, if the watch lugs hang over your wrist to where the bracelet drops say 90 degrees or less from the case back, the piece is too big for you. A bracelet should wrap around your wrist, not hang from the lugs just to have the clasp touch the underside of the wrist to hold the watch on. The watch should looked balanced on your wrist. Even a 42mm watch can look big if it is fitted to someone with a proprotionatly sized wrist. If you don
Ronin
Great advice/observation Bike Mike. If you are looking for a Breitling for small wrists: Navitimer on leather SuperOcean Heritage 38mm (not repped) Colt

Bike Mike
Same wrist size, 6.75, and the Colt just fits perfect. BINGO! That is what I am getting it!
