You can put whatever RRP you like on a sold-out watch. I'd say it cost well under a grand, but no-one's confirming that either way.
www_watch
And even if they cost 2000..... Then I´d still prefer 7 of the new Submersibles over one of these..... DAMN..... that thing is butt ugly. Edited August 28, 2006 by www_watch

For me, this watch is worth no more than $350, limited or not. Any dealers care to get this repped? It'll sell well
Quarks
Yikes. That is pricey. A bit more cash I could fit the bill of a BNIB PAM112. Sorry but that is wayyy to expensive. I reckon RXW is a little pricey, well this is just...... too much?
dadog13
i like it...but would never pay that much for it...i'd give 200$ for it...
Star69
what is MBW ?? is it a swiss brand ?
Pugwash
what is MBW ?? is it a swiss brand ? No. MBW is Maria's Best Watch, a German replica maker in Thailand. Honestly, it's too much to explain in a sentence here. I advise the search facility on this board if you really need more info.

swdivad
Maria never was and is no replica maker. So, are you saying this watch is NOT from Maria's Best Watch? Nice watch, great dial/hand combination and design.... Price?? $2000 for a $50 replica case and a $20-60 (depending on the option you choose) movement is abominable and blasphemy IMO, but if he can get it, what the hey It's a free world. If it REALLY is that limited, and REALLY costs that much, I say bring on the reps, they'll sell like hotcakes at a couple hundred bucks a whack.... Davidsen, where are you??? Pugwash
Maria never was and is no replica maker. ... and there was me thinking he organised the composition of replicas from parts.

swdivad
So in fact that the MBW's are Frakens? No they are not, even the dials are not genuine Singer based, as genuine Singer stamps look different. The only thing that makes vintage MBW's better than others is the fact that the cases accept gen parts - but they don't come with gen parts already from the factory... Rep Radiomir cases accept genuine Unitas movements... I think you distinction above applies to Rolex only for MBW cases. I would really like to know how much these MBW Militares were really purchased for.
Pugwash
To clarify my position. Maria took orders for watches and he got some bloke or some blokes to put them together and he wasn't in charge of a factory or anything. Does that sound more accurate? If not, feel free to explain. Star69
so - who has the best Sub ? all MBW-Watches are assembled in Cambodia from an old swiss trained watchmaker ... so also this limited edition . - is it ?
