ebzen02
I never thought that I'd like the BP. However, after seeing the reviews, the watch, putting it on, and seeing how close to gen it looks and feels one cannot resist. It is a solid watch and feels gen. Love it!! krpster
Nice pics! Great looking piece. Like you I was not so fond of the BP at first. It is slowly climbing up to my short list. Thaks for sharing.

deniz21
i love this watch and great pics too but why is a fish on the crown of a iwc? knows this someone
ebzen02
i love this watch and great pics too but why is a fish on the crown of a iwc? knows this someone Not really sure, but I do believe it goes back to IWC's nautical beginnings. Now I do know that the 5002 has two versions. The first and earlier version of the 5002 has the fish crown, while the second version (called the transitional 5002) all have what they call the Probus crown. The rep is a copy of the 5002-1 version. BTW: This watch is virtually indistinguishable from gen. Edited February 10, 2010 by ebzen02

I have heard it has a PR of about 5 days--more than enough for me. EDIT: Thanks for the positive replies!! Love this watch!
