hackR Posted April 7, 2010 Report Share Posted April 7, 2010 definitely don't see too many red dials - that's for sure... do you know for sure that the dial/rehaut is the same size for the rep BCE?...just wondering... i put a blue gen Chrono Avenger dial/rehaut into a v1 Chrono Avenger case and it fit perfectly...sometimes with diff crystal thicknesses - the gen leaves a small gap...i have a 0.5mm or so gap on my v1 ti Seawolf - and that's with the gen dial and rep rehaut - rep rehaut is taller than gen rehaut, too...it may sound small - but the gap bugs me... cougaree Posted April 12, 2010 Report Share Posted April 12, 2010 I actually care less about the AR, but I wonder removal of the outer AR would help anything. Both of my v2 BCEs don't have very strong tint on the crystal. As for my modding project goes, I will also be installing a gen bezel, tabs and maybe crown if it fits. The hands on my will be relumed to match the gen dial. I'm even thinking about swap out the Asian 7750 movement for a Swiss one, but maybe that's something I will have to do later because the A7750 movement just got serviced.
