ubiquitous Posted May 22, 2010 Report Share Posted May 22, 2010 When I first rec'd my Tudor chrono, it was averaging around -25 sec/day. Somewhat irritating losing 1 min/4 days... So, I decided to do something about it. Here's how I 'regulate' to +2 sec/day without a timing machine... Simply swap the movement with a NOS 7734 : And out with the old. Movement is looking pretty dirty... So, there you have it... Think I'll have the old one serviced sometime soon and then build something else out of it. Smoother winding, better chronograph operability... And of course better time keeping. What a difference! Now that I've essentially rebuilt/replaced most of this watch since receiving it, I've arrived at the conclusion that I should have just started this one from scratch.
