Am I correct to say that the serial number of 3,42x,xxx means that it is meant to be a Red Submariner? I thought the white subs came in after or during 1974 (4,000,000+ Serials). So this is in fact a red sub?

Also, is the 93150 bracelet a replacement bracelet? I thought that the 9315 bracelets was used up to after 1974.

"...the serial number which begins with 3,42x,xxx has been re engraved."

Upon closer inspection of the posted pics, it appears that it may be an aftermarket case. Nice franken

I would presume that the re engraving would be to the same original serial.

What are the tell tale signs that the case is aftermarket? Your knowledge is much appreciated.

When I look at my gen 1680, 5.8 mil SN, and compare the lugs, the 3.4 mil has much thicker lugs. Then when I compare the side profiles, the 3.4 mil is still much thicker, the case has a greater depth than my gen, and very straight looking sides- no rounding over of the sides as in a 35 year old watch case.
