All's good, thanks bro, I've decided not only am I going to start tattooing, I'm going to learn how to do it 'bamboo style' like in Thailand. I did some cherry blossom petals on the side of my foot friday with a dry needle just to test the technique, and while the shapes were a bit rough (totally freehanded, no stencil) I was happy with the technique, so have decided to try and specialize in it
lanikai
that great news T !! very lucrative profession .. although in your beliefs greed is the #1 block to freedom but I trust that your work will be based on art and the finances will just be part of the whole... good to hear things are progressing in a positive direction !!! Congrats .. big time !!!!!!!!! You're absolutely right there, to be honest, I would be happy to tattoo someone for free, if it meant giving them art which they enjoyed, although sadly, we also need money to live, so indeed, I would have to charge enough to live on Even though the petals are quite crude and will probably heal to invisibility, I'm happy with what I achieved, based on my intentions. I did not want to leave permanent ink marks from a 'trial run', so no ink on the needle, nor stencil on the skin, so I had to do it totally freehand, in a manner I'd never done before, so in that regard, I'm very happy with the results, and it's only encouraged me to aim to get more professional equipment, and focus on that as a 'specialist technique' in addition to regular machine tattooing
