eunomians Posted August 10, 2010 Report Posted August 10, 2010 Some thoughts/impressions regarding the AP T3 beast... Big, bold, well-made, details are superb. The T3 is surprisingly comfortable to wear and it is actually lightweight (it's made of Titanium). If this thing was made out of steel though, it really would be too heavy to wear IMO. Crystal is slightly domed. Numeral markers have perfect metal border surrounds that shimmer in the light. Dial texture is well executed. Pushers do not dig into the wrist at all. As per usual, the rep strap is garbage so the T3 needs an AP Bands genuine croc strap to make it wearable (factor this into the final cost of the watch). My wrist size is 6.85" and it fits fine. Great watch but it is not for the faint of heart!
StormTooper4 Posted August 10, 2010 Report Posted August 10, 2010 Not for me I have enough trouble trying to pull off a standard ROO, but your pictures certainly make it appealing thats for sure , great looking dial
By-Tor Posted August 10, 2010 Report Posted August 10, 2010 Awesome shots man! I'm a closet AP fan and who knows... maybe one day...
neverworn Posted August 10, 2010 Report Posted August 10, 2010 perfect fotos of an awesome watch but i
eunomians Posted August 10, 2010 Author Report Posted August 10, 2010 Here's the caseback... Wristshot coming up later!
dluddy Posted August 10, 2010 Report Posted August 10, 2010 That watch is so ugly it's beautiful.... Great shots Euno....
eunomians Posted August 12, 2010 Author Report Posted August 12, 2010 Lots of folks have expressed the desire to see wristshots, so here ya'll go! My wrist is 6.85" and the watch fits; albeit, in a 'big' way lol
rogerwine Posted August 14, 2010 Report Posted August 14, 2010 I just received a AP Shaq Special Edition today from Josh and like the T3 this is a very big watch. But I love it, absolutely beautiful as is your T3. I am finally satisfied with the best largest watch I can handle, and man am I smitten. This is a keeper. Rogerwine
mactower Posted August 22, 2010 Report Posted August 22, 2010 I'm really torn between this and the safari. :|
sahboo Posted August 23, 2010 Report Posted August 23, 2010 what an awesome piece!!! is this the titanium version? where did you get yours from?
eunomians Posted August 31, 2010 Author Report Posted August 31, 2010 Just got this custom-made K.Wong genuine carbon fiber strap... The carbon fiber threads match the color of the dial pattern perfectly Please note that the strap is made from genuine carbon fiber threading, not the usual faux/fake carbon fiber you find on all supposedly CF straps.
exper Posted August 31, 2010 Report Posted August 31, 2010 Wow, was never a fan of the T3 but esp on that strap... its something special!
Chronus Posted August 31, 2010 Report Posted August 31, 2010 Lovely strap! Reminds me a little of the new AP Bands strap they are putting out.
eunomians Posted August 31, 2010 Author Report Posted August 31, 2010 It is similar to the AP Bands strap except that the K. Wong custom strap utilizes genuine carbon fiber not '3D carbon-like material'. In person, genuine carbon fiber threading looks wholly different than any faux CF material. It's really stunning once you see it with your own eyes.
Chronus Posted September 1, 2010 Report Posted September 1, 2010 I think a wrist shot may be in order
warner Posted September 5, 2010 Report Posted September 5, 2010 Thanks for sharing, great combination !!! One question, the T3 case is made of titanium....but the case back it's self looks like it's stainless steel ??? is that right or is it the photo effect that makes it look like SS ?
eunomians Posted September 5, 2010 Author Report Posted September 5, 2010 It's titanium. The caseback is brushed and polished titanium. Looks amazing in real life.
vlydog Posted September 5, 2010 Report Posted September 5, 2010 Just got this custom-made K.Wong genuine carbon fiber strap.. Really diggin' this combination D! K.Wong makes a great strap.
dolphinfreindly Posted September 7, 2010 Report Posted September 7, 2010 man this looks good, great strap dial combo, and it looks like it fits your wrist well. I had a T3 once and sold it as I like to have reps that I could theoretically afford. nice watch fella wear it well
nagar Posted September 20, 2010 Report Posted September 20, 2010 where to get K Wong strap just like yours online?
