Jkay
this sounds like everyone's first experience repairing their own watch.

Dizzy
So I just graphite lubed the s**t out of the 2 gears I could see, and I blew the lube into the gap. Oh wow... Sounds like the guy on timezone that shot a squirt of WD-40 into the back of his gen Rolex to "lubricate" the movement... Didnt turn out very well. Im afraid if you need that if you a new case, caseback, dial, hands and movement parts... you may as well just buy a new watch as it might be cheaper than buying all the parts seperately dizz
urbanshogun
really? it's been running all night and hasn't lost a minute.
kbh
I think your best shot is to try and find somebody that's got a dead Daytona laying around that will sell it cheap.
Rolexman
Just spray some WD40 on the movement ... that always does the trick
urbanshogun
well, the method I used, despite having the elegance of a narcoleptic stripper on acid, has worked; at least for now. 24 constant hours now!

redwatch
It's great that your watch has been running continously, but I can't help but shake my head. These kind of comments scare the crap out of me: So I just graphite lubed the s**t out of the 2 gears I could see, and I blew the lube into the gap. Anyways, like the gentleman above mentioned, I would post that you are looking for a dead daytona
urbanshogun
why is that scary? it is a fake watch after all, with a maximum value of say $200 to me, and to the dealer I bought it from, as that is what I payed. the dead daytona has a value of $0 to me, and anyone else I'm sure. Any attempt at fixing it can only increase the value of the watch.
