A known watch collector with millions of dollars worth of watches, Charlie Sheen was lividly trying to locate his hard-to-get Patek Philippe Ref. 5970 watch. Collectors love the classic high-end Patek with a chronograph, perpetual calendar, and moon phase indicator. It is worth well over $100,000. The media calls it a "Sheen Meltdown," but he was really just looking for his timepiece that went missing on October 28th. The story goes deeper, though. Sheen blamed his "date" that night Capri Anderson for taking the watch. The two apparently met earlier in the night and ended up back at Sheen's hotel room where things got a bit out of control. Drugs and alcohol are obviously implicated - and Capri is said to have quickly become afraid of the 45 year old actor before locking herself into a bathroom. Forget the girl, at this point Charlie couldn't find the watch. Later taken to a hospital, Sheen's Patek was still on the loose. Does the porn star have it? The bell hop? Someone else? Sources are unclear about the events that led Anderson to Sheen's hotel room, and there have been suggestions that he was back to his old ways of paying for sex. Let's just hope that Sheen didn't inadvertently hock the watch at a pawn shop to pay for Capri's "fee." Despite the media fiasco, I just feel bad for Charlie. When you are a watch lover, and have a timepiece that rare, you'd scour the earth to get it back if lost. Capri Anderson -- I Will Sue Charlie Sheen 10/30/2010 1:00 AM PDT by TMZ Staff Capri Anderson is getting ready to drop a legal bomb on Charlie Sheen -- TMZ has learned the porn star is planning to sue Charlie for the events that went down during his hotel meltdown in NYC. Sources close to Anderson tell TMZ ... she believes Charlie was acting so crazy in his hotel room at The Plaza Hotel on Tuesday morning -- that she felt her life was in danger ... and she also felt like she was being held in the room against her will. As we previously reported, Charlie tore the room apart -- busting a chair and causing damage to several hotel items. Capri ended up locking herself in the bathroom and calling hotel security. Capri claims Charlie also threatened her in the hotel room, although she made no mention of this to NYC cops when they interviewed her about the incident. He gets most of his pieces free, he has a contract that means he has to wear a watch at all times on the show. You never see him without it on, even in bed with the ladies, also rarely, if ever, wears long sleeves so it can't be seen!! More power to him I say, drugs, drink, hookers and free watches?! I don't think he'll OD directly. I believe he will die from some drink or drug-induced mayhem (bar-fight, road rage, car wreck, accidental self-immolation). That seems to be more his style. Drulee Posted October 31, 2010 Report Share Posted October 31, 2010 Sheen is definitely a troubled person, who will probably have to have a heart attack before even thinking about what he's doing to himself and others. My driver, of a few years past, used to work part-time for a limo service as well. He got to know Sheen pretty well from picking him up at the airport and driving him into town, and was always requested by Sheen when he came to Toronto. Seems Sheen isn't the type to just close the divider, instead he would always carry on a conversation while in transit. He told me that Sheen seemed to be a very lonely person, and would often get called by him just to drop in his hotel room and chat for a bit. Of course this usually included many 'trips' made in the middle of the night which didn't help him much. But that was about 15 years ago, so maybe his character has taken a nose dive since. His brother, Emilio, on the other hand seemed to be quite a nice guy. I was at a friend's bar once and didn't realize that I was nearly crushing Estevez against a wall until a buddy told me - he's such a little guy, I didn't even notice him standing there But I got to talking to him and he just seemed quite humble but personable and not full of himself of at all.
