Martyd3 Posted November 4, 2010 Author Report Posted November 4, 2010 He's my least favorite Bond, but it's a great watch.
sneed12 Posted November 4, 2010 Report Posted November 4, 2010 (edited) Subdial spacing looks off. That's a really nice looking watch Edited November 4, 2010 by sneed12
lhooq Posted November 4, 2010 Report Posted November 4, 2010 Those are some of the best photos of the Lazenby 6238 I've ever seen. I can finally see clearly the shorter pointer on the Blofeld-seeking red sweep. Also, I'm happy the riveted bracelet is confirmed by the photos. There's one scene in OHMSS where Bond is fiddling with some gadgets on his desk, and you can clearly see the old-style clasp and its protruding coronet.
Ronin Posted November 4, 2010 Report Posted November 4, 2010 Excellent. Wow, never really paid attention to that model Daytona before. The pictures in that post really make it shine... While OHMSS may not have been a high point in the Bond universe, it did have some excellent outdoor winter skiing scenes...
ChipSlap Posted November 5, 2010 Report Posted November 5, 2010 I must be an outlier, but I would rate OHMSS higher in quality than many people. I like that he has to do some research and go undercover. Much of the time in other films, he just waltzes all over the place using his real name. BTW, in the book he removes his Rolex from his wrist and puts it around his hand for use as brass knuckles.
